Our experience with Eric was wonderful and you would be extremely happy with him as your DJ! We came across Eric from our photographer Heather Lahtinen (www.weddingsbyheather.com). We were telling her how we didn’t want a DJ that was real cheesy and had that real DJ voice, if you know what I mean by that. Anyway, she suggested that we contact Eric because she felt he was what we were looking for. After meeting Eric the first time, we knew he was perfect for our wedding. He is a very likable individual and really cares about making your day one to remember. We would absolutely choose him again! The nice thing is, he plays exactly what your preferences are. Once you agree to go with him, you get a log-in to his website and can start picking songs that you wanted to be played during the dinner hour and during the rest of the reception. You pick everything from what you want to be played from for the garter removal and toss to the bouquet toss and final dance, amongst everything in between. He even dealt wonderfully with my mother in law who insisted on playing a slow song that changed half way through to a fast song for the Mother/Son dance all tailored as a surprise for the groom! We had about 140 people at our reception and the party rocked! The dance floor was packed the whole time. I am being completely honest when I say that. When he was playing the last song, there were so many people still there wanting the party to go on. Since I had been on my feet all day, I was ready to hit the bed, so I didn’t extend the time; however, he was more than welcome to stay longer. I am in my mid twenties and my husband just turned thirty. We had a very mixed group there from a lady in her late 80s dancing ALL NIGHT LONG to a little 8 year old sliding on the dance floor. I think having such a variety of songs being played got everyone going and kept everyone interested. He talked just enough in his everyday voice…..not cheesy and definitely not overdone. My husband and I were pretty open, but we didn’t want alot of the typical wedding reception songs played, and he listened to that. Some were played, but they were the good ones that got the party started. He shows up early (which was a HUGE deal to me) and he is dressed in a very nice tuxedo. He interacts just enough to get people involved while leaving all of the attention on the bride and groom. In our minds, you cannot go wrong with him. His professionalism is truly a cut above the rest. He gives you all the guidance you might want or as little as you want.

I can not say enough about the service provided by Eric Schiemer! He was a wonderful vendor to deal with during the planning process. His website is easy to use and very helpful in selecting that perfect song – it also helps a bride ensure that all of the elements she wants in her reception are not over looked. Eric was available during the planning session to consult with us personally as well – we planned from a distance and Eric made himself available via phone to help us in the creative process of song selection! He brings great equipment and sets up well in advance to ensure there are no issues. He also (with permission) takes photos during the event and posts to his blog – this was great as our friends were able to view and share pictures within a few days of our wedding (everyone knows how long the photography takes!). He also places your playlist on his website – which is a great memory of the night. He has a wonderful personality – keeps the event moving and is not an over the top cheesy DJ. He was aware of the age diversity of guests and selected just the right mix of songs to keep everyone happy and having a wonderful time! We highly recommend Schiemer Entertainment Services!!!!!
