Susan and Aaron (Pittsburgh Athletic Association)

Looking back at some older weddings is really getting me excited for this upcoming year of wonderful receptions. Later this year I’ll be playing again at the Pittsburgh Athletic Assocation again. I figured it would be good to showcase some images on my site from the last time I performed there. Susan and Aaron had a fabulous and fun reception that lasted long into the evening.

They certainly created an evening that showcased their personalities. Most people didn’t even notice these two hidden on the cake.

I can’t say enough about how terrific the Pittsburgh Athletic Association works as a reception venue. It’s beautiful, elegant and their staff works to make sure every need of the guests is met perfectly.

Suzie and Aaron’s friends were ready to dance from the first song til the end of the evening. What a great party!

Christie and Dave (Sheraton Station Square)

I love that I get to play such an important part of people’s special day. I also love the fact that every reception is so unique and special. During my trip down memory lane, I came across these images from Christy Brankley & Dave Schoen’s wedding reception held at the Sheraton Station Square.

Held in one of the inner rooms at the Sheraton, Christie and Dave had a completely wild and fun reception. From the moment the bridal party arrived I knew this would be a one of a kind evening.

Both Christie and Dave were huge music fans and were on the dance floor all night long!

Working with couples like Christie and Dave is why I love DJing so much. Looking back on the photos I can still feel the joy and love they felt on their wonderful day

Ann and Narium (Bella Sera Wedding Reception)

Still going through some old wedding photos and just came across one from 2007! Ann Ficco and Narium Dastur had their wedding at the beautiful Bella Sera by Grecco located in Canonsburg, PA.

As you can tell from the images, Bella Sera is a beautiful location that transports everyone to Italy with it’s strong Tuscan influence.

Ann and Narium were fun to work with and had guests come from all over to celebrate their special day. The wedding lasted long into the night and everyone had an amazing time enjoying this beautiful and unique venue.

Christy & Michael (Southpointe Golf Club )

This winter I’m continuing my trip down wedding memory lane and pulling old wedding photos that have never appeared on my website. Christy Russell & Michael Rogers held their wedding reception at the Southpointe Golf Club in Southpointe, PA.

I’ve had the pleasure of working at the golf club many times in the past few years. Their staff is always kind and attentive to every detail.

I happen to capture this moment of the bridal party enjoying themselves before their introductions.

Christy and Michael will be celebrating their FOURTH wedding anniversary this coming June. They had chosen such timeless and elegant style for their wedding that the photos could have easily be from this year.

Kate & Josh (Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium Wedding)

Just for fun, this winter I’m taking a look back at some weddings that I never featured on my website (I used to be really bad about that). I thought I should post a nice summer wedding for us to look at during this cold snowy time. A few years ago I performed at the reception of Kate Lockard and Josh Snyder at the outdoor facility of the Pittsburgh Zoo.

The outdoor tent makes for a beautiful location for a reception. The weather was amazing for Kate and Josh’s big day so guests could enjoy the outdoor cocktail hour and then enter the tent for dinner.

In place of name cards, each guest’s name was printed on to a beautiful rock. I still love this idea.

This little guy made his own grand entrance before the reception began…

It’s always a terrific experience to perform for an outdoor reception, the open environment really helps people relax and enjoy themselves. This year Kate and Josh are coming up on their 4th wedding anniversary! They were wonderful and fun to work, it was easy to make their day a fun and unique celebration.

Maria & Steve (Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel )

Here’s another amazing wedding from the past couple of years that never made it to my website. Maria Gaydosz and Steve Calvery held a spectacular reception at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

The Renaissance Hotel is a spectacular place for a reception. The view of the city from the ballroom is simply breathtaking, and their attention to every detail is simply perfect.

Once again, I had the chance to work with Heather of Weddings By Heather. She is so great at capturing wonderful moments.

As you can tell by these photos, Maria and Steve’s wedding was one crazy fun party.

Maria and Steve were kind enough to write me a fantastic reference after their wedding. I feature it on my testimonials page because it so perfectly addresses the important concerns potential clients have. I have such a wonderful time at this reception, I was glad to get know this sweet and wonderful couple.
