The success of your wedding celebration depends greatly on your guests. If they feel happy and comfortable, they will stay and enjoy every moment of your big day from beginning to end. Maggie and Kevin did a fantastic job giving their guests all they needed to completely let loose and have the time of their lives at their elegant reception at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
The ballroom at the History Center has never looked better as it was decked out in uplighting, candle lighting, and a gorgeous wall of rope lights.
Maggie and Kevin’s guest were treated to a full day of great food, a wonderful atmosphere and some fantastic music. When it was time to dance, everyone was up and ready to get a little wild on the dance floor. At the end of the night many of their friends and family were ready to join the newlyweds for the after-party. Maggie and Kevin are now preparing for a well-deserved, romantic honeymoon in Aruba.
I think every couple wants to treat their guests to a wedding day that is completely unforgettable. Family and friends should leave the celebration slightly disappointed since they could have stayed and danced until dawn. Madison and Jay gave their guests the party of lifetime at their elegant reception at the Fairmont Pittsburgh.
Lots of couples feel that their friends and family love to dance and party, but Madison and Jay’s guests filled the large Fairmont dance floor immediately and kept the energy going strong all night long.
I love it when guests share the excitement with the newlyweds and help make the perfect celebration. Madison and Jay’s wedding day was certainly one that no one will forget. The happy couple is soon off to Aruba to unwind after their epic wedding day.
Every couple has to decide what part their families will play in the preparation of their wedding day. Some couples work hard to keep their closest family members as far away as possible from influencing their plans. Katy and Andrew chose instead to have their parents play a major role in their beautiful and elegant reception held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Washington, PA.
The ballroom at the Doubletree looked spectacular, and was filled with customized Fall weddingdetails, which added to the warm and friendly tone of the reception.
Katy and Andrew, along with their families, provided excellent music choices, which contained enough variety to please all of their guests. Their friends and family were quick to join them on the dance floor and join in the celebration of the newlyweds and their new life together. The happy couple is now off to Florida’s most family friendly honeymoon spots for some well-deserved time together in Disney World and Universal Studios.
Surprises on your wedding day can go either way. Some couples love the idea, while others want to avoid any type of unplanned event happening during their big day. Samantha and Greg planned a little surprise of their own, which turned out perfectly, for their wonderful celebration held at Anchor Village in Shippenville, PA.
Samantha wanted to surprise her father with a special song for their dance, so she had instructed me to play that song no matter what her dad would request. Turns out when her father called me, he chose the exact same song Sam had chosen special for him (Bruce Springsteen’s “When I Need You”). Clearly these two both were thinking on the same page, and the shock on her dad’s face when he found out was completely priceless!
One thing that wasn’t a surprise was how much fun all of the newlyweds’ friends and family had that night. Dance music lasted for well over 3 hours as everyone made room to dance, sing and celebrate! The happy couple are now off to Mexico for a romantic and relaxing honeymoon.
A big challenge for couples can be trying to figure out how to get as many of their guests to stay at the reception for as long as possible. As a DJ, I try to make sure I play a wide variety of music to make sure all the guests enjoy the evening and stick around to dance and celebrate. Kacie and Trevor included some extra special events ] to keep many of their guests involved til the very end at their reception at the Embassy Suites in Moon Township.
Their wedding reception had so many special touches that reflected the couple’s styles and hobbies, but the most popular had to be the Euchre tournament which ran throughout the evening. Guests battled it out for a chance to play against the newlyweds. Kacie and Trevor had also included some subtle details at the reception, my favorite would be the special flowers in the bouquets that were made from the pages of a Harry Potter book!
I love couples who spend the time finding ways to share parts of themselves with their guests, but I don’t know if I’ve ever had the chance to work with a couple with such unique and inventive ideas. Their friends and family were treated to a celebration like no other!
