Victoria and Ben (Carnegie Museum Wedding DJ)

Many couples worry about hiring a wedding DJ who may act corny or play cheesy music. It’s important that the style of the DJ and the music matches the tastes of the bride and groom. Tory and Ben knew what was right for for their elegant and wonderfully fun celebration at the Carnegie Museum Music Hall Foyer.

The Carnegie Museum continues to be my favorite venue in Pittsburgh. The beauty and elegance of the Music Hall Foyer just can’t be matched.

Tory and Ben provided me terrific guidance regarding the playlist for their celebration.  They knew exactly what their friends and family would enjoy, but also gave me the opportunity to contribute to the music selections.   Everyone had a great time dancing, singing and celebrating with the newlyweds.  The happy couple created a beautiful and modern celebration that no one will ever forget.

Almost anyone you meet would tell you that they love music, but only a select few people are truly passionate about a wide variety of songs and artists.  Even fewer still know how to craft a great playlist to create their ideal wedding celebration.  Lisa and Joe’s passion and knowledge of music allowed them to choose the perfect soundtrack for their reception at the Carnegie Museum’s Music Hall Foyer in Pittsburgh, PA

The Music Hall is my absolutely favorite place to DJ in Pittsburgh.  Such an amazingly beautiful venue that is elegant and timeless.

Lisa and Joe’s friends and family were tuned in to the couple’s music selections as everyone cheered and sang along to each song.  Everyone partied and danced all night long before heading off to the after party for more celebrating.  The happy couple is headed off to a romantic Mediterranean Cruise where they can relax and, I’m sure, listen to some more great music.

Lindsay and Roy (Carnegie Museum)

Weddings are hard work.  It’d be easy to use up all your energy just planning for such an important day.  Lindsay and Roy didn’t have any problem keeping their excitement going throughout their elegant celebration at Carnegie Museum’s Hall of Sculpture in Oakland.  From their first dance all the way to the last song, they made sure to enjoy every moment to its fullest.

The newlyweds had arranged to give their guests a wonderful wedding experience.  Everything started with a beautiful ceremony at Heinz Chapel, which was immediately followed by cocktails on the Grand Staircase at the Carnegie.  When guests moved to the Hall of Sculpture, everyone was commenting on how spectacular everything looked.  The entire evening flowed smoothly and efficiently so that when the dance floor opened, people were ready to join in the fun.

You can see some of the beautiful decor and the rest of the party in this video.

Lindsay and Roy were smart to spend both cocktail hour and dinner time visiting with their guests, which allowed them lots of opportunities to dance.  I was blown away by how tirelessly they were able to keep moving all night long.   After an amazing amount of planning and celebrating, these two were finally ready to enjoy their well deserved honeymoon in Maldives.

Kristen and Omar (Carnegie Museum)

I believe every couple should be able to have their wedding exactly as they’ve always dreamed.  It’s important to make the details of your day a true reflection of who you are.  Kristen and Omar did an amazing job making their celebration at the Carnegie Museum a terrific blend of style, elegance, and fun.

Their reception began with cocktails in the Hall of Architecture, with live music by the MerryMakers, who then led the guests in a New Orleans Style parade to the Music Hall Foyer, where the newlyweds held their romantic first dance.  It was a great way to show everyone this was going to be a very special evening.

As dinner ended, the guests were able to enjoy a great mix of music chosen by the newlyweds.  Kristen and Omar worked hard on a playlist which included everything from Sinatra, The Drifters, Journey, and Neil Diamond, as well as newer music from Pitbull and Michael Jackson.  The music, as well as many other elements of the evening, worked perfectly as a way for this fun and stylish couple to share parts of themselves with their closest friends and family.

There are no words.  I wish I could give Schiemer Entertainment 100x the amount of stars possible on this website.

To me the music and DJ at a reception is what keeps the party alive. I wanted a wedding where guests would talk about it for hours, days, weeks, months, and years after. We haven’t gotten to months or years, but hours, days, and weeks have passed and the response I keep getting is that I had the best wedding my guests had ever been to. Although that is a compliment to me, I think it is more a compliment to my DJ. Eric Schiemer was able to put together a playlist of music that kept people on their feet all night.

After speaking on the phone with Eric, I knew he was my man. He possessed a knowledge about weddings that other DJ’s I had contacted didn’t have.  Once booked, he gave me access to a site that allowed me to input all my information, choose songs, create a do not play list, and organized all my songs and information to make the reception planning easy.

Like mentioned above, I have not a complaint in the world about Eric. He is the single person I credit for the amazing time my guests, my husband, and I had at my reception. He listened to what I wanted, created an amazing playlist, and flawlessly input guest requests into the reception.

I cannot thank Eric enough for helping us celebrate such a special night.

Katie and Andrew (Carnegie Museum)

I sometimes get the chance to DJ for weddings which have used a theme to tie details and decorations together.  Katie and Andrew’s “How I Met Your Mother” inspired wedding has to be one of the most cute and imaginative ideas I’ve ever seen.  Their ceremony and reception were held in the amazingly beautiful Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, PA.

Prosen Butor Wedding

Subtle details from the TV show could be seen throughout the venue, but Katie and Andrew carefully planned everything so well that even non-HIMYM fans wouldn’t feel out of the loop.  The card box, table cards, cake, and more were all charming references to the show, while still remaining elegant and beautiful.

The newlyweds did a fantastic job planning the details of their wedding, including some amazing music choices throughout the day.  Guests had a great time dancing, singing and getting a little crazy to a great variety of music.  Katie and Andrew’s day full of woo-girls, wingmen, yellow umbrellas, and 1 ducky tie was the perfect match for their charming and fun personalities.  They’re now off to Fiji begin the next season of their lives together.  It’s sure to be Legen…dary.
