Cassie and Kyle (The Pennsylvanian Wedding Reception)

I’ve had the opportunity to work with lots of couples as their DJ, and I love when they introduce me to new music and artists that are the best choices for their wedding. DJs are able to call on years of experience to help pick the music to fill the dance floor, but many newlyweds have unique insight into the songs that will get their friends and family the most excited and keep the celebration going all night. Cassie and Kyle knew exactly what to request for their epic celebration held at The Pennsylvanian in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Grand Hall at the Pennsylvanian decked out with beautiful decor and a custom bar featuring gorgeous photos of the newlyweds! The large dance floor always makes the perfect spot for a fabulous dance party and all of Cassie and Kyle’s guests did not disappoint!

The playlist consisted of a large variety of music from classical to EDM. The energy of the guests was contagious as everyone crowded in to celebrate the next chapter in Cassie and Kyle’s life. The night ended in the Pennsylvanian’s rotunda for a final farewell and sparkler send-off. The happy couple is now off enjoying a well-earned honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Emily and Travis (Sheraton Station Square Wedding)

Putting together an epic wedding day is hard work. There are tons of plans to make and it requires tons of coordination between friends, family and vendors to ensure your special day is one that no one will ever forget. One of the best parts of my job is getting to see everything come together and watch hundreds of guests caught up in an amazing once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

Emily and Travis (and their families) put an amazing amount of effort into their wonderful wedding day and it all paid off big time! The ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Sheraton Hotel at Station Square. After their sweet nuptials, guests made their way to the large ballroom for a truly unforgettable party. The dance floor was packed all night long as friends and family celebrated and sang songs from every genre imaginable!

The entire evening included lots of special customized elements including the centerpieces, flower wall and the best kettle corn in all of Pittsburgh! Emily and Travis’s music requests were also a perfect match for everyone to be able to join in the fun. The excitement was contagious and it was clear this group was ready to keep going all night long. Once the official party ended, everyone headed to the after party to spend even more time with the newlyweds. Emily and Travis’s hard work was 100% worth it as I’m sure their wedding is one people will talk about for years to come!

Kiera and Matt (Rivers Casino Wedding)

You may have guessed that I love music. Even more than that, I love working with couples that love music. It’s fun for me to get to customize a wedding soundtrack that’s perfect for the wedding day. Kiera and Matt knew exactly how to tweak the music for their epic celebration held at the wonderful Rivers Casino is Pittsburgh, PA.

Rivers Casino provided the perfect space for a wedding reception that no one will soon forget. I worked with Kiera and Matt to make custom versions of their special dances, and it really helped keep the party moving along perfectly. Guests were then treated to a fabulous dinner, followed by a stunning Pittsburgh cookie table. This all left plenty of time for the dance party, featuring songs that allowed everyone to join in.

All of Kiera and Matt’s hard work paid off as they were able to spend lots of time with all of their favorite people. Everyone danced and cheered all night long before making their way to the casino for even more time with the newlyweds. I had so much fun helping make this day a success, and can’t thank Kiera and Matt enough for sharing their passion for music with me!

Azia and Kirill (MuseumLab Wedding)

Most wedding planning begins with the search to find the perfect venue. Pittsburgh offers so many amazing choices, it can be hard to find one that matches your style and needs for the big day. Azia and Kirill made an amazing choice for their wedding, held at the fabulous and unique MuseumLab, which is part of the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

The MuseumLab offers a number of fantastic spaces, including the first floor where Azia and Kirill chose to have have their wedding ceremony. Afterwards guests made their way to the 2nd & 3rd floor areas for dinner and an amazing dance party!

I had so much fun getting to meet and work with this fun couple! It was most important to them that their friends and family would be able to gather and have an unforgettable evening, it that’s exactly how it was! Everyone danced and sang all through the night and it was clear no one was ready for it to end. Azia and Kirill made wonderful choices throughout their planning process and the hard work really paid off in a perfect wedding day. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Paige and Josh (Wedding at The Pennsylvanian)

2022 might be the best year of weddings ever! Guests are more excited than every to FINALLY get together with friends and family. Add in having the opportunity to celebrate the love of the bride and groom, and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect day. The feeling of happiness and pure joy at Paige and Josh’s wedding was contagious. Guests had come from all literally all over the globe to be with this wonderful couple.

Paige and Josh took full advantage of the amazing space at The Pennsylvanian for both their wedding ceremony and reception. Guests enjoyed a fabulous evening of visiting and dining before crowding the dance floor for an epic dance party featuring tons of great music from yesterday and today.

I’m so fortunate to get to play a part in helloing newlyweds create an evening that is a reflection of their style. Watching Paige and Josh’s energy as they spent time with their favorite people and dancing ALL NIGHT made me wish the night would never end. Towards the end of the evening, guests surrounded the couple for a dollar dance before partying hard to the last few songs. The happy couple is now off on a very well-deserved honeymoon in the Maldives!

Stephanie and Eric (Sheraton Station Square Wedding Reception)

Planning the perfect wedding requires a lot of cooperation from everyone you know. The best weddings I’ve been lucky enough to DJ are the ones where the couple gets input and assistance from those closest to them. Stephanie and Eric’s fabulous wedding day incorporated special touches and moments from friends and family and made their reception truly one-of-a-kind!

Their ceremony and reception were held at the marvelous Sheraton Hotel at Station Square, where Stephanie wore a custom dress made by her mother! Later in the evening, guests were treated to a fabulous cookie table with tons of cookies made by Stephanie’s sister (who’s wedding I DJ’ed way back in 2014!).

After dinner there was an amazing dance party, and guests made some fabulous and unique song requests that kept the celebration going strong all night long. I have to add a big shout out to Eric’s 11 year-old nephew, Mario, who served as my fantastic DJ assistant and even help me pack up at the end of the night!

The evening included so many memorable moments (including Eric’s spectacular coat change from his morning to evening attire). It was sad when the party came to and end, but not without an unforgettable ending song where guests gathered and sang along with the newlyweds. Stephanie and Eric threw the most amazing party that was a perfect match for their style and for their fun and super friendly guests. It was a night I’m sure no one will soon forget!
