Every once in a while, I’m lucky enough to DJ for a couple who know exactly what songs will connect with their guests and take their celebration to the next level. Emily and Ryan recommended a fantastic selection of music which made their reception the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott the party of a lifetime.

Throughout the ballroom, Emily and Ryan provided customized touches to make the day even more special. Their tables were named for locations at Penn State, paying homage to the newlyweds’ alma mater.
Once dinner was completed, the dance floor exploded as everyone danced, sang and went wild to a great variety of music. Guests of every age couldn’t seem to get enough of the songs from every genre. Emily and Ryan knew exactly how to create an epic celebration that no one would soon forget. The newlyweds are now headed off to Hawaii to begin their new life together.

I received a call before the wedding from Moncia’s sisters to request some assistance for the Maids of Honors’ toast. I provided the music as they rapped well-wishes to the newlyweds to “The Fresh Price of Bel Air” theme. Monica also chose to allow her dad to call me with a surprise father/daughter dance (Frank Sinatra’s The Way You Look Tonight). These few unexpected moments really helped add some unique and fun to the evening.
It was a wonderful evening of celebration and family. Everyone had a fantastic time dancing, singing, and enjoying the photo booth. Before the newlyweds headed off for their honeymoon in Aruba, the guests crowded the dance floor for three wild and fun farewell songs..jpg)

I try to help make each couple’s celebration match their personal style. I had a blast working with Lynne and Steve since their main focus was to create a day they knew would be fun for all of the guests. The newlyweds are now off to Jamaica for their honeymoon.
