Anna & Adam Gave Everyone a Reason to Celebrate at their unforgettable Omni William Penn Hotel Wedding

Sometimes people simply need a reason to dress up, let go, and have a really great night together. Anna and Adam gave their friends and family exactly that. Their Pittsburgh wedding felt elegant when it needed to, but never too formal for people to laugh loudly, sing together, and completely lose themselves on the dance floor. You could feel how happy everyone was to be there, not only attending a reception, but celebrating two people they genuinely love.

The Urban Room at the Omni William Penn Hotel was filled with ornate details, beautiful flowers, and warm lighting that made the room feel ready for both dinner and a big party. The tables looked polished and elegant without making the space feel stuffy. Off to the side, an incredible cookie and candy display waited for its moment later in the evening. Everything fit Anna and Adam’s mix of classic style and high-energy fun.

Cocktails began with jazz standards, Rat Pack swing, and traditional pop before dinner moved into 70s soft rock, Motown, and classic rock favorites. Then the reception shifted completely. The dance floor filled with every generation as we moved between current pop, party classics, EDM, and rock. By the finale, almost everyone had gathered into one huge circle around Anna and Adam, singing and celebrating together.

After the guests cleared out, Anna and Adam returned to the floor alone for a private last dance to Miley Cyrus’s “You.” It was quiet, simple, and a really sweet way for them to take in the room one final time.

As a DJ, I get to see what happens when a couple creates the kind of wedding where people feel free to be themselves, and Anna and Adam gave their guests that gift. Their friends and family showed up ready to celebrate, and the joy in that room felt completely genuine. I hope they carry plenty of that same happiness with them when they head to Italy together for a very well-deserved honeymoon.
