Succop Nature Park

Most couples will probably never know how special their wedding day will be to everyone involved.  Wedding guests are given a wonderful opportunity to put their “normal” lives on hold for a while, and take time to share in the excitement, joy and love of a once-in-a-lifetime event.  Katie and Ryan treated their friends and family to an amazing day at their perfect wedding held at the Succop Nature Park in Butler, PA.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous and made for a beautiful setting for both the wedding ceremony and reception.  Katie and Ryan included personal touches throughout the house and pavilion and even played the newlywed/shoe game before the epic dance party began.

One of the biggest concerns most couples seem to have when hiring a DJ is that things might need to get cheesy in order to please the wide variety of guests that are invited to the wedding.  Molly and David proved that not only could the music be incredibly cool, but that all ages of people love to dance, sing and get crazy when they are excited for a once in a lifetime celebration.

Molly and David’s wedding was held at the stunning Succop Nature Park in Butler, PA.  Their ceremony took place right outside of the Mansion before guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner throughout the beautiful location.

Once dinner was over, all of Molly and David’s friends and family immediately hit the dance floor for a wonderful variety of music from the 80’s to today.

The end of the night came way too soon as everyone cheered for the happy couple.  Molly and David planned the perfect wedding day, with a soundtrack that truly met their style as well as that of their wildly fun friends and family.  The newlyweds will soon head off for a well deserved honeymoon in Hawaii.

Outdoor weddings can be a gamble in Pittsburgh.  Summer weather can be unpredictable and many people aren’t willing to take the risk of having rain ruin their big day.  Erin and Martell’s wedding ceremony and reception was the perfect example of why choosing an outdoor venue is completely worth it.  They had absolutely perfect weather as their friends and family gathered at Succop Conservancy in Butler, PA to celebrate the happy couple’s new life together.

I had the opportunity to provide music and sound for Erin and Martell’s beautiful wedding ceremony, which was held in front of the mansion at Succop.

The wonderful day turned into a fantastic evening where guests were able to enjoy the great area around the conservancy.  While everyone got to dance, they also were able to enjoy s’mores by the campfire!

Erin and Martell included a great variety of music in their special day to be sure that everyone could hear something they would enjoy.  Everything from Motown, funk, rock and modern hits.  I loved the chance to work with the newlyweds and their families to help make this great day even better.

Wedding are all about passion.  It’s a rare opportunity to fill an entire day with the people and things which truly make you excited.  Music was definitely a top priority for Melissa and Dan as they created their perfect Fall wedding day at Succop Conservancy in Butler, PA.

Melissa and Dan had planned the perfect Western Pennsylvania wedding experience for their friends and family, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.  Many guests had come from out of town and were treated to a beautiful and joyous celebration.

When it came to selecting the music for dancing, the newlyweds knew just what to choose.  The great variety of modern and classic tunes kept their guests on the dance floor all night long.  It was obvious how excited everyone was for the happy couple.  Melissa and Dan are now off to continue their celebration (and their passion for each other) on their honeymoon in Belize.

I recently met a DJ who told me he didn’t like the idea of DJ’ing only weddings, since they’re all the same.  This made me laugh, because I’m fortunate to work with amazing couples who are passionate enough to take the time to make their day, and their music, completely unique.  This past weekend I worked with Mindy and John to make the music at their celebration completely customized, elegant, and seriously fun.

Succop Conservancy in Butler provided a beautiful setting for the couple’s big day.  Everyone enjoyed custom mini water bottles as the couple exchanged vows on a perfect summer day.  I provided music and sound for their elegant Jewish and Protestant ceremony.

I feel bad for DJ’s who treat weddings as cookie cutter events. Mindy and John were so much fun for me to work with, since they took great care in making a wedding day which reflected their style.  As their guests crowded the dance floor singing, dancing and begging for more music, it was clear they had succeeded in creating a day like no other.
