Pittsburgh Airport Marriott

Consistency and professionalism define weddings at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Having played more than 20 weddings here, I have seen firsthand how smoothly events are run under Jeannie’s leadership. The team approaches each celebration with a level of detail and coordination that rivals many of the city’s most established venues, creating a calm and well-orchestrated environment from start to finish.
The ballroom can be adjusted to comfortably fit a wide range of guest counts, which helps the room feel full and proportionate whether the gathering is intimate or large. For couples who want to incorporate the outdoors, the courtyard offers a welcoming space for cocktails or even a ceremony.
When cocktails or special moments take place outside the main ballroom, extending sound coverage ensures that music and announcements remain clear and connected to the overall flow of the night. Thoughtful placement keeps transitions smooth so every part of the celebration feels intentional.
Below are real weddings at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott, offering a closer look at how different couples have shaped the space for their day.

Megan and Brandon (Wedding at Pittsburgh Airport Marriott)

Some weddings are just built for fun and celebration, and it all starts with a couple ready to party with their guests. Megan and Brandon were the epitome of an upbeat, fun-loving pair, setting the stage for an unforgettable reception held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Moon Township.

As guests entered the ballroom, they were met with an epic “Mr. & Mrs. Thompson” sign, a clear reflection of the newlyweds’ excitement to begin this new chapter in their lives. The presence of their dog Finn, cleverly incorporated into various signs throughout the venue, added an element of fun and whimsy to the night.

I had the pleasure of DJing Megan’s brother’s wedding back in 2019, and I knew that this family knew how to have a good time. The dance floor was packed the moment the celebration kicked off, and the energy was simply infectious.

Megan and Brandon gave me the creative freedom to keep the dance floor alive, and the playlist spanned a wide variety of music genres to cater to all their guests. The night seemed to fly by, but thankfully, the party continued in the hotel lobby once the newlyweds had one last dance in the empty ballroom. Working with Megan and Brandon was an absolute thrill, and their enthusiasm and fun-loving nature transformed their reception into a night to remember.

Alana and Hunter (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding Reception)

The joy of family coming together to celebrate a wedding is truly incomparable. As a wedding DJ, I have the privilege of witnessing these incredible moments firsthand, and Alana and Hunter’s wedding reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Moon Township, PA was no exception.

From the moment guests entered the beautifully adorned ballroom, it was clear that this would be an unforgettable evening. The stunning venue set the stage for a night filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. And of course, the irresistible allure of the cookie table added an extra touch of delight, tempting everyone with delectable treats.

Once the delightful dinner was savored and the cookie cravings were satisfied, it was time for the dance floor to come alive. And boy, did it come alive! Alana and Hunter’s friends and family wasted no time in unleashing their dance moves, creating an atmosphere of pure energy and excitement.

But it was the closing moments of the night that truly captured the essence of family and tradition. As Barry Manilow’s “Can’t Smile Without You” filled the air, Alana and Hunter took to the dance floor, surrounded by their loved ones forming a circle of support and adoration. With hearts full of joy and the echoes of laughter still lingering in the air, Alana and Hunter bid farewell to their extraordinary celebration. As they embark on their well-deserved honeymoon in Italy, they carry with them the memories of a day filled with love, laughter, and the indelible mark of family.

Nicole and Tommy (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding Reception)

If you’ve read my website at all, you can probably tell that I love being a Pittsburgh wedding DJ. Every time I load up my DJ equipment, I get to go and be part of people’s happiest day. I love working with couples to create a soundtrack that will be a perfect match for their celebration. Nicole and Tommy held their absolutely EPIC reception at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott and it was definitely one I know I’ll never forget!

Nicole and Tommy put together an evening that everyone would enjoy – including a fabulous cookie table, a cappuccino bar, doggie treats, late night snacks, and of course, amazing music and a huge dance floor where everyone could celebrate!

The newlyweds also brought TONS of energy, which really kept their guests dancing and singing all night long. With lots of time scheduled for dancing, everyone got to dance to their favorite songs. After partying for hours, their friends and family were still full of energy and excitement as they cheered for the newlyweds.

Jessica and David (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Wedding Reception)

One of the top concerns I hear from couples is about how there might not be enough time to do everything they want to include on their wedding day. It’s easy to see how time will pass too quickly on of a day filled with your favorite people, favorite foods and of course, favorite music. Jessica and David made many excellent choices for their reception, but I think one of the best was to plan for a day that allowed plenty of time for many special moments, lots of visiting, and tons of dancing!

Their reception was held at the wonderful Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Moon Township, PA. The ballroom looked fabulous with great lighting, pink linens and a custom monogram above the head table. One of the great things about the Marriott is the option to use the ballroom for a lot longer than other venues allowed. This gave Jessica and David lots of time to really enjoy once-in-a-lifetime moments with their friends and family.

Jessica and David’s celebration gave everyone plenty of opportunity to visit with family they haven’t seen for a long time, and also allowed them time to enjoy a great ice cream bar AND a late night snack of chicken fingers! At the end of the night there was a still a huge group of people who circled the dance floor to wish the newlyweds all the best on this new chapter of their lives. The newlyweds are now taking a little time to bask in the success of their big day before heading off for a European honeymoon later this year.

Maria and Steven (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Reception)

One of my favorite things about being a wedding DJ is working with couples who really want their day to be fun for all who are invited.  With everyone putting so much focus on the newlyweds, it’s truly special to see couples who spend so much effort towards making sure their guests are going to enjoy the day just as much.  Maria and Steven’s sweet and caring personalities made it easy for them to plan an amazing wedding reception for them and all of their closest friends and family at the wonderful Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Moon Township, PA.

The Three Rivers Room at the Marriott looked amazing with glitter and shiny silver accents and blue uplighting.  Guests were treated to an adorable custom bottle of wine at each place setting.

Maria and Steven entered the ballroom and set the tone that tonight would be a celebration like no other.  Everyone took their lead and there was no hesitation when the dance floor opened.  They joined in to enjoy a great dance party that featured hits including oldies, old skool hip-hop, 70’s and today.  It could not have been a more perfect ending to the happy couple’s amazing day as they were surrounded by all of their closest people.  Guests had come from near and far, and the newlyweds were sure to give them a night to remember.

Chelsea and Tyler (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott)

Many newly engaged couples I meet with are concerned about their wedding guests dancing and having a good time at their reception.  I assure them that if the bride and groom are having the time of their lives, that energy radiates to everyone in the room.  From the moment I met Chelsea and Tyler, I knew their excitement and love for each other would make for an incredible celebration.

Their ceremony and reception were held on a perfect day at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott.  Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were excellent locations for the big day!

Chelsea and Tyler’s first priority was to make sure their friends and family were included in the celebration, even when it came to the music.  From beginning to end, they were sure to have music from every genre imaginable.  The dance floor was constantly full and you could tell how much everyone loved the newlyweds.  The happy couple is off on a romantic honeymoon in Aruba to relax and enjoy the success of their special day.

Among all the dancing and singing there was a surprise performance of “After The Lovin'” by the Father of the Bride that blew everyone away.  The entire evening was full of wonderful, sweet, silly and crazy moments that the newlyweds will get to cherish for the rest of their lives.  Lindsey and Gary are soon off to Punta Cana for what I’m sure will be a honeymoon to remember.

Katie and Tim (Airport Marriott Wedding)

Pittsburgers love their sports teams, but few are able to figure out ways bring that passion into the biggest day of their lives. Katie and Tim gave their reception at the Airport Marriott a one-of-a-kind Pittsburgh Penguins theme that their friends and families will be talking about for years to come.

Airport Marriott Wedding-25

The celebration began with the newlyweds entering through a tunnel of hockey sticks as they were presented by a customized introduction recorded by Mike Lange. My two favorite nods to the Penguins were the outstanding ice sculpture of the Stanley Cup and the custom made table card tickets. Such perfect attention to detail!

The best part of being a DJ is getting to play for a group of people who are ready to party. Katie and Tim were so fun and full of energy, they spent tons of time with their awesome guests on the dance floor. The relaxed and upbeat theme created the perfect atmosphere for an epic celebration.
