Columbian Room

Located in the South Hills, Columbian Room offers a reception space that is straightforward and designed to accommodate larger gatherings comfortably. The hall has a classic banquet layout, making it easy to structure dinner service and a full dance floor without overcomplicating the flow of the evening.
The room’s open proportions keep introductions, toasts, and special dances visually centered. There is ample space for guests to spread out during dinner while still feeling connected once the dance floor opens. The neutral interior provides flexibility in how couples shape the overall atmosphere.
Because of the size and depth of the hall, thoughtful sound placement ensures music and spoken moments carry clearly throughout the space. When coordinated well, the reception transitions naturally from formal moments into a lively celebration.
Below is a look at how a wedding at the Columbian Room comes together once guests arrive and the evening is underway.

Mallori and Mike (Columbian Room)

Since New Year Eve is best known as a time of celebration, new beginnings, and resolutions, I can’t imagine that there is a more fitting date for a wedding.  It was the perfect occasion for Mallori and Mike’s big day at the Columbian Room in Wexford, PA as their guests joined in to celebrate the newlyweds’ new life together as husband and wife.

The Columbian Room looked amazing for both a beautiful ceremony as well as the best party of the year.  I was so glad I could help by providing uplighting and a customized monogram for the happy couple.

Mallori and Mike’s friends and family had clearly come to party.  The dance floor was the place to be, and as midnight approached no one was left out of the celebration.  The newlyweds started the new year, and their new marriage surrounded by all of their favorite people.  They are now headed off for a well-deserved honeymoon.
