Grand Theater

Leah and Daniel couldn’t have picked a better place for their wedding day than The Grand Theater in McDonald. It’s a historic theater turned event space, and honestly, it could not have been a more perfect match for them. It has that one-of-a-kind charm you just don’t find everywhere, and as soon as I walked in, I knew the day was going to be something special.

Their ceremony took place right on the stage, with guests seated on the main floor watching it all unfold. It felt cinematic in the best way—like the whole room got quiet and held its breath as Leah made her entrance. While their family and friends enjoyed cocktails in the lobby and lounge, the staff flipped the room into a reception space with a super creative book theme. There were novels, card catalog-style table numbers, and little literary touches everywhere. By the time guests came back in, the room had completely transformed.

The stage was the perfect backdrop for Leah and Daniel’s first dance. It gave everyone a perfect view, and you could feel how excited their guests were to celebrate with them. This wasn’t one of those high-energy, nonstop dance-all-night weddings—it was the kind of evening where people relaxed, visited, shared stories, and spent meaningful time together.
