Valley Brook Country Club

Set among rolling greens just outside the city, Valley Brook Country Club offers a reception space that feels bright, open, and well organized. The property carries a classic country club atmosphere while still giving couples flexibility in how they shape the evening.
The ballroom is comfortably sized for dinner and a full dance floor, with a layout that keeps guests connected to introductions and toasts. Large windows bring in natural light earlier in the day and help the room feel open before transitioning into a lively reception.
Uplighting works especially well here. The walls and architectural details respond beautifully to color, adding depth and warmth as the evening progresses from dinner into dancing. With thoughtful sound placement and coordination alongside the venue team, the night flows smoothly from one moment to the next.

Maggie and Justin Brought the Party to Valley Brook Country Club

Maggie and Justin set the tone for their wedding before the night even got going. From the moment guests arrived at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA, there was a feeling that this was going to be one of those nights. Not forced fun, not a performance. Just a couple of hundred people who genuinely love this couple, ready to celebrate in the best way they knew how. Maggie works in corporate event coordination, and honestly, it showed in the best possible way. Every detail of this night was thought through and intentional, and it made my job genuinely fun from start to finish.

The ballroom was flooded with natural light earlier in the evening, and the centerpieces on each table were gorgeous. As dinner settled in, the uplighting shifted the whole mood of the room, wrapping everything in warm color and making the space feel alive. By the time the dance floor opened up, that warmth had turned into something electric. The room was ready.

Justin and Maggie made their grand entrance to Thomas Rhett’s “Dance With You,” which set exactly the right energy coming in. Their first dance to Brandon Lake’s “Nothing New (I Do)” was one of those moments where the room goes quiet in the best way, and the applause at the end said everything.

Then the dancing started, and it simply did not stop. Disco, 80s classics, country, top 40, EDM — we covered a lot of ground over three-plus hours, and the crowd never once let up. Maggie and Justin were hoisted into the air more than once during the party, which tells you everything about the energy in that room.

When the last song finally came, guests followed the couple outside, gathered together, and sent them off with cheers as Maggie and Justin jumped into a golf cart with Daft Punk’s “One More Time” filling the air. Perfect.

These two are headed to St. Lucia, and I hope they take every bit of that energy from this room with them. It was a privilege to be part of this incredible celebration.

Lindsay and Zac (Valley Brook Country Club Wedding)

Ever since I made the choice to be exclusively a wedding DJ, I’ve told everyone that I have the best job ever. This year it means even more to me to get to be part of so many wonderful celebrations. I’ve had the chance to work with so many wonderful couples who had to jump through so many hoops and challenges to put together their dream wedding day. Lindsay and Zac made the whole process seem effortless, and it’s hard to imagine their day being anymore perfect. It was held on the most perfect spring day at the Valley Brook Country Club in McMurry, PA.

The country club looked absolutely gorgeous with special touches throughout, including this amazingly fun garden wall featuring a neon sign announcing “The Chavels”! The main ballroom was used for both the ceremony and the epic dance party that would follow. Lindsay and Zac’s guests were clearly excited to be together and wasted no time getting into celebration mode.

I have to thank Lindsay and Zac for being so much fun to work with, for choosing such fun music for their big day, and for allowing me to be part of such an epic party. The happy couple is soon headed to Naples, FL for a very well earned honeymoon!!!

Jessica and Phillip (Valley Brook Country Club)

Jessica and Phil had the perfect wedding reception at the Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray, PA.  It wasn’t perfect because the weather was amazing (which it was).  It wasn’t perfect because their guests went crazy on the dance floor (which they did).  It was perfect simply because their friends and family came together and really celebrated the love these two have for each other.

Valley Brook County Club (25 of 25)

The ballroom looked amazing with elegant and stylish decor.  The newlyweds had me provide uplighting which lit up the room as the sun went down.  Guests enjoyed a fantastic candy buffet after dinner.  The sugar rush that followed may explain the amazing dance party that didn’t want to end.

Jessica and Phil provided me with some general guidance for music, along with a few selections to include for dancing.  They wanted to be sure their guests had a great time, and that certainly didn’t prove to be a problem at all.  The newlyweds gave their guests a perfect day and even better evening.  The new Mr. & Mrs. are now off to what I’m sure will be the perfect Hawaiian honeymoon.
