Twelve Oaks Mansion

Weddings are all about bringing people together, and Alexis and Bill took that to heart when planning their beautiful celebration at Twelve Oaks Mansion. On a perfect summer day, they made sure that every moment of their wedding was inclusive, fun, and a true reflection of their lively personalities.

The evening began with cocktails in the cozy library, where guests mingled and sipped drinks while enjoying the warm atmosphere. From there, everyone made their way to the grand ballroom for dinner and dancing, where the night truly kicked off.

Alexis and Bill put so much thought into ensuring everyone was part of the celebration, and this was evident right from the bridal party introductions. Instead of the typical entrances, each couple in the bridal party had their own song and wowed the crowd with hilarious and creative routines. It set the tone for the rest of the evening—a night that was all about having fun and making unforgettable memories.

For dinner, guests were treated to a fantastic soundtrack featuring music from the ‘70s through today, providing the perfect backdrop for conversations and laughs. But once the dancing started, the real party began. Alexis and Bill had requested an incredible mix of music from across the decades, with hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and 2000s. Whether you were into country, R&B, oldies, or dance music, there was something for everyone.

Alexis and Bill’s wedding was a celebration that included everyone and made every guest feel like they were part of something special. It was a night full of heart and soul, and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!

One of the best parts of being a wedding DJ is watching couples make their day uniquely their own. Samantha and Riley’s wedding at Twelve Oaks Mansion was a perfect example of how incredible a celebration can be when you focus on what truly matters to you and leave out anything that doesn’t reflect your style.

On a gorgeous summer day, Samantha and Riley exchanged vows in the elegant ballroom at Twelve Oaks Mansion. The space was bright and airy, filled with the love and anticipation of their closest friends and family. Once the ceremony concluded, the venue’s staff flawlessly flipped the room to get it ready for the evening’s festivities.

What I loved most about Samantha and Riley’s approach was how they focused on what they enjoyed and didn’t feel the need to follow every traditional wedding element. The music throughout the night was a perfect reflection of their personalities—a mix of Top 40, pop, country, dance, and, of course, some Taylor Swift thrown in for good measure! From the very first song, it was clear that the couple wanted their guests to have a blast!

As the last song echoed through the ballroom, it was evident that the evening had forged an unbreakable bond among the guests. Their spirits were still soaring, and the hunger for more celebration lingered in the air as they headed to the after-party. Lauren and Johnn’s wedding day became a testament to the power of unity and shared excitement, creating an evening that will be spoken of with joyous nostalgia for years to come.

As a DJ, I tend to talk a lot about the fun and dancing portion of wedding receptions, but many times I’m fortunate enough to be a part of the actual ceremony.  I love being able to provide sound and music for the most important time of couple’s special day.  Nicole and Matt did a fantastic job choosing music to include in their ceremony that fit their style perfectly.

Once the ceremony was  completed, guests were able to move from the library into the ballroom for cocktails, dinner and dancing.  The happy couple took great care in preparing a day that would suit their guests’ style.  This included everything from the location, ceremony, candy buffet and music.  The results could not have been more perfect and I am thrilled that Nicole and Matt chose me to be part of it all.  Congratulations to this awesome couple!

Putting together weddings is a lot of work.  Lots of things to do, lots to think about and plan.  I love when couples are able to let all of it go and just enjoy themselves on the big day.  Lindsey and Kirk were not only great fun to work with, but were able to truly enjoy every moment of their beautiful reception at Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA.

I love the ballroom at Twelve Oaks.  It’s a big open space with lots of beautiful natural light.  It was a wonderful area for Lindsey and Kirk’s celebration.

Lindsay and Kirk provided a great list of music for cocktails, dinner and dancing.  The mix was perfectly suited for their friends and family who danced, sang and got a little crazy on the dance floor.  I had the best time watching the newlyweds enjoying themselves so much as their guests cheered and celebrated with them.  The happy couple is now headed off to San Diego for a romantic and well-deserved honeymoon.

One great way to share a part of yourself with your wedding guests is to choose a fun theme to help make the day feel extra customized.  This past weekend I DJ’ed a very unique and elegant reception for Emily Knopfel and Scott Gibbons at the Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA.

Emily and Scott both share a love of literature and came up with great ways to use that throughout the mansion.  Scott even built this custom card catalog for guests to find their seat assignments.

At the center of each table were books by the couple’s favorite authors.  Since Scott works as a teacher, it certainly made sense as well to shuttle their guests in a school bus!

Scott and Emily clearly have a passion for music as well.  Their song choices blended well into a mix that was upbeat and fun.

Scott and Emily worked hard to create an environment that their guests would always remember.  Their cocktail hour featured a slideshow of great photos of the couple, and afterwards the bridal party decended the grand staircase at the mansion.  The couple’s first dance to David Gray’s “This First Love” followed dinner and was sweet and romantic.

With the formalities out of the way it was time to relax and party!

Scott and Emily pulled all of this together from out of state with help from their friends and family.  Their literary wedding theme was a huge hit and was a perfect example of simple elegance.  The couple is taking a little time to enjoy the success of their big day before their honeymoon in Ireland.  I sure hope they remember to take along something to read!

How can you have the right attitude for your wedding?  So much emotion, so much planning, so much of everything – is there any possible way to keep focus on what really matters?  Those who are able to find the peace of mind to remember this on their big day are the ones who seem to enjoy the celebration the most.  Yesterday I was the DJ for a couple with the most amazing attitudes.  Jessica Randazza and Rob Schreck had their relaxed and fun-filled wedding reception at the wonderful Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA.

Cocktail hour kicked off with jazz music from the fantastic Southern Comfort Band.  What a great way to start the evening.

Outside of the photo booth was a box of fun trinkets.  I loved the fact that the Schreck family enjoys their Shrek connection!

Twelve Oaks Mansion was decorated beautifully with a fall theme.  Bethany, the coordinator for the mansion, described the day perfectly as “simply elegant”.

With Jessica and Rob’s easy going nature, they allowed plenty of room for me to “do my DJ thing”.  They provided some great direction for song choices, but also let the evening flow through every genre.  The music was a BIG success.

Everything went exactly according to schedule, so there was plenty of time for visiting before the dancing began.  When the moment was right, the dance floor went WILD!

Because of Jessica and Rob’s attitude, they were able to relax and be a part of everything that was happening around them.  They weren’t stressed about what was coming next or worried if anything was wrong.  They’re the perfect example of how to have the dream wedding day.  Their friends and family joined in their energy and the party was so spectacular that no one wanted to leave.  Now the newlyweds are off to relax some more on their honeymoon in beautiful Punta Cana.
