Aubrey and Chad (Sheraton Station Square Reception)

As a wedding DJ, there is nothing that compares to getting to work with a couple that loves to dance. Wedding guests always want to be with the newlyweds, so you know it’s going to be a party when the happy couple spends their time on the dance floor! Aubrey and Chad’s reception at the Sheraton Station Square was one where everyone got to be part of the celebration AND spend a wonderful night with the bride and groom.

The Sheraton was a perfect reception venue with a beautiful view of the city. Instead of a guest book, everyone got to sign a “Wedding Jenga” piece for Aubrey and Chad to cherish. After the formal dances were over, it was time for an epic dance party including fantastic songs from yesterday and today.

It was so much fun to see the dance floor filled with guests of all ages. Aubrey and Chad’s music requests were a perfect match for their friends and family. The dancing never stopped until the final note of the final song as the newlyweds were surrounded by all of their favorite people. The happy couple is soon off to St. Lucia for some relaxation (and maybe a little more dancing).

Lindsey and Byron (The Pennsylvanian Hotel Wedding)

One of the big decisions couples make when planning their wedding is about who will be doing speeches, toasts, and officiating during the big day. Obviously it’s important to choose people you trust, but also those who will do a great job at making all of the wedding guests feel part of the celebration. Lindsey and Byron’s choices of speakers were perfect for their beautiful Fall wedding held at the Pennsylvanian Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA.

Their ceremony was held in the Rotunda at the Pennsylvanian and was officiated by a long-time friend of the bride. The mix of relatable stories and the relaxed nature of the service helped set a great tone that lasted all night long. As guests moved in doors, Lindsey and Byron were toasted by not only their Maid of Honor & Best Man, but also by a group of their friends from Baltimore, which added more fun and laughter to the occasion.

Of course, Lindsey and Byron’s excellent choices weren’t only limited to those who spoke on their wedding day, they also chose an amazing selection of music that kept their guests dancing all night long!

As the night came to an end, all of the guests returned to the Rotunda for a fabulous sparkler exit before heading off to the after party. I love how Lindsey and Byron’s choices throughout the day created a wonderful community out of all their friends and family. After such a successful celebration, the newlyweds are headed off for a very well-deserved honeymoon.

Lauren and Dustin (Doubletree Hotel Wedding)

2020 made a lot of couples make difficult decisions about their wedding day. They had to decide if it would it be worth the wait so they could have the big day of their dreams. Lauren and Dustin absolutely made the best decision for their amazing celebration, which was held at the wonderful Doubletree Hotel in Moon Township, PA.

Lauren and Dustin did get married in a small ceremony on their originally planned date, but then held a large ceremony at the hotel before guests made their way to the ballroom for visiting, dinner, and an epic dance party.

All of the newlyweds’ friends and family were excited not only to be together, but to have the chance to really celebrate with Lauren and Dustin. The energy of the night was infectious, and everyone had a chance to dance and get wild to their favorite songs. I’m so happy Lauren and Dustin chose to wait and have ALL of their favorite people together for a night I’m sure no one will ever forget!

Courtney and Eric (Wedding at The Pennsylvanian)

Not every couple is interested in choosing most of their music for their wedding day, but it’s great fun for me when they do! It’s even more of a thrill when a couple decides to include a wide variety of great songs that not only reflect their style, but includes something special for all of their guests to enjoy. Courtney and Eric took great care in creating a fabulously unique request list like no other for their beautiful wedding held at The Pennsylvanian in downtown Pittsburgh.

The rotunda at The Pennsylvanian makes one of the most spectacular places in the city to hold a ceremony. It was the perfect spot for Courtney and Eric’s guests to watch the couple share this special moment. Afterwards guests were treated to an amazing evening that included wonderful food and an amazing dance party!

The soundtrack for the evening included everything from Elton John to Drake. It was a fabulous mix that kept people dancing and singing along throughout the evening. Once the guests left the Grand Hall, Courtney and Eric chose to have a special dance alone before meeting up with their friends and family at the after party. I loved that they took a few moments together, reflecting on their perfect day. Once this special moment was over, they went on to meet their guests for more celebration, and I’m sure, to enjoy a few more great songs!

Kaitlyn and Brooke (Crestfield Camp Wedding)

Finding the perfect venue for your wedding is one of the first and biggest challenges for couples to face once they get engaged. I love working with couples who think outside of the box to find the right location that will match their style and taste. Crestfield Camp & Conference Center may not be known as a popular wedding venue, but I can’t imagine a better location for their amazing once-in-a-lifetime celebration.

Brooke’s father is the pastor at Crestfield, and also helped officiate their beautiful ceremony held in the outdoor chapel. Afterwards guests headed to a large wedding tent for cocktails, dinner, and FIFTEEN different cheesecakes for dessert!!! Oh, ya… and let’s not forget the fabulous dance party that included tons of amazing music from yesterday and today!

Kaitlyn, Brooke and I share a love of show-tunes, dance music and Taylor Swift, so I had a great time including lots of special song choices that kept their dance floor packed all night long. The newlyweds brought so much excitement that no one had a choice but to join in the fun. The happy couple keeps making great choices of locations as they prepare for their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!

Kristen and Anthony (Wedding at The Pennsylvanian)

There’s nothing more fun for me than to work with couples who not only love music, but are completely aware of what songs will be a HUGE hit with their friends and family on their wedding day. Kristen and Anthony blew me away by choosing some absolutely amazing music for their epic wedding celebration held on a perfect Fall day at The Pennsylvanian in the heart of Pittsburgh.

Kristen and Anthony made great use of the Grand Hall, using it for both their ceremony and reception. The newlyweds even made room to honor their dog Millie, who snuck into the party on their wedding cake! Guests were treated to a fun-filled evening, including everything from fabulous food to a dance party like no other.

Kristen and Anthony’s playlist included music from every genre imaginable, and they both brought so much energy to the dance floor. I don’t Kristen’s feet ever touched the ground after the first song started! After such an amazing evening, the couple certainly deserves some time alone on their honeymoon in Italy!
