Stonehenge Lodge Came Alive for Catou & Adam

When I think about what makes a wedding truly unforgettable, it’s not just the music (though that definitely helps) or the setting (more on that in a sec) — it’s the people. And from the first moment I arrived at Stonehenge Lodge for Catou and Adam’s big day, it was obvious: these two are deeply loved. Friends, family, extended family, childhood besties, college roommates, and work crew — everyone was there not just to celebrate, but to make sure the whole thing was perfect. And honestly? It was.

Stonehenge Lodge in Acme, PA is such a hidden gem, especially in late spring when everything is ridiculously green and the sunlight is pouring through the trees like a movie scene. Catou and Adam held their ceremony down by the lake — peaceful, beautiful, and completely relaxed. After the ceremony, everyone moved up toward the lodge for cocktails and dinner, with tons of room to spread out, catch up, and enjoy the view.

From the second the dance floor opened, this crew showed up. We hit everything from 2000s throwbacks and pop anthems to country singalongs, disco classics, and straight-up dance bangers. One second it was Shania Twain and Luke Bryan, the next it was ABBA and Usher. Everyone got their moment to shine — and they took it. The energy never dipped, not once. It was the kind of night where people danced with their grandparents, their friend’s kid, their high school buddies, and their new in-laws, all in the same song.

I have to give a shoutout to Catou and Adam’s families — they absolutely made the day. From wrangling decorations and helping with the setup to hyping up the crowd and making sure everyone was smiling, they were all-in from start to finish. There’s something really special about a wedding where it’s clear how much love and support surrounds the couple. It changes the vibe — makes everything warmer, easier, better.

Catou and Adam — thank you for letting me be your DJ. Your wedding was a blast, and I’ll be smiling about it for a long time. Have the best time in Hawaii — you’ve absolutely earned it.

From First Dance to Fireworks: Hannah & Ben’s Epic At-Home Celebration

Hannah and Ben threw a wedding that was every bit as joyful and fun as they are — and they did it in the best possible place: home. Ben’s parents opened up their beautiful property in Franklin Park for a day that was packed with love, music, and the kind of good energy you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. From their romantic first dance to the surprise ending (spoiler: fireworks), it felt like the kind of night that will be talked about for years.

Hosting your wedding at home comes with its own special kind of magic. Instead of feeling like guests at a venue, everyone felt like part of the family. The property had space for everything: cocktails and dinner up near the house, and a massive tent that turned into a full-blown party zone later in the night. The setting felt personal, welcoming, and uniquely theirs.

A quick shout-out to Ben’s parents, who made the day happen. Not only did they share their home — they helped create a space that was laid-back, beautiful, and totally celebration-ready. It takes a lot of trust to host a 250-person wedding, but they pulled it off like pros.

After dinner, the night kicked off in a way I’ve never seen before — Hannah and Ben shared their first dance to a country duet that had everyone feeling the love. Dinner was followed by meaningful dances with their parents, and then the party really got going. People packed the floor for everything from funky old-school classics to high-energy pop, country anthems, and even a little reggae. This crowd was so much fun!

The perfect ending to a night like this? Fireworks. No, really — everyone made their way down to the lake and were treated to a full show lighting up the sky. It was the kind of moment you hope never ends. I left that night feeling completely lucky to have been a part of it. Hannah and Ben’s wedding was full of heart, laughter, and just the right amount of rowdy!

A Packed Dance Floor and One Very Impressive Cake: Victoria & Antonio’s Night at the Museum

Victoria and Antonio are the kind of couple you can tell are just meant to be together. They’re fun, relaxed, and clearly in love — and their wedding had that same vibe. From the first moment they walked into the reception space, they brought the energy. You could tell this wasn’t going to be one of those sit-down-and-chat kind of nights. This was a celebration, and everyone was all in.

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s Music Hall Foyer was the perfect backdrop for it all. It’s a big, dramatic space that feels both elegant and electric when it’s lit up for a party. Everything looked incredible. And the cake? Massive. Gorgeous. Honestly, a work of art. It had this wow factor that made people stop in their tracks. I’ve seen a lot of wedding cakes, but this one absolutely stood out.

Victoria’s mom, Faith, was the behind-the-scenes mastermind who pulled all these amazing details together. She handled planning, coordination, and booking like a pro. You could tell she wanted her daughter to feel free to just enjoy the moment, and Victoria did. It’s rare to see a couple so at ease at their own wedding, and it made everything feel even more special. The vibe in the room was full of love, gratitude, and excitement — like everyone knew they were part of something meaningful.

The night officially kicked off with a live performance of “The Prayer,” which gave everyone goosebumps. It was this beautiful, emotional moment that set the tone for the rest of the evening. And then Victoria and Antonio blew everyone away with their choreographed first dance (they crushed it). Then before dinner began, the newlyweds enjoyed a few special moments during the dances with their parents.

Once the dance floor opened, people were all in — dancing to pop, hip-hop, old-school singalongs, and just about every party anthem you can think of. From ABBA to Usher to Pitbull, the floor was the place to be!

The final dance of the night was something I won’t forget — Victoria and Antonio surrounded by all their people, dancing one last time as newlyweds. It felt like a scene out of a movie.

This night was incredible from start to finish, and I’m honestly so grateful I got to be a part of it. Being their DJ was an absolute blast, and I left feeling like I’d just witnessed something really special. Victoria and Antonio — thank you for letting me help bring your celebration to life. Now go enjoy that well-deserved honeymoon in Italy!

When the Music Hits Just Right: Rachel and Jacob’s Fun-Filled Celebration

There’s just something about late April in Pittsburgh. You can feel the city shaking off the last bits of winter, everyone ready to celebrate and dance like nobody’s watching. That vibe? It showed up in full force at Rachel and Jacob’s wedding at the MuseumLab, and honestly, I’m still smiling about it.

The whole day felt intimate and full of heart. The ceremony took place on the first floor of the MuseumLab — an incredible space with tons of character. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Rachel and Jacob exchanged vows.

When it came to the music, Rachel and Jacob kept things simple — and trusted me to take it from there. They picked a few key songs for their ceremony, grand entrance, and special dances, but the rest? They let me read the room, vibe off their guests, and build a night that kept getting better and better.

And man, did it work.

Once the dance floor opened up, it was pure joy. We blended everything from 80s and 90s throwbacks, to pop bangers, to some high-energy rap. The energy was contagious — every time a song ended, you could feel the crowd ready for the next one. Parents, college friends, aunts, uncles, coworkers — everyone was out there together, losing themselves in the music and having an absolute blast.

We ended the night with everyone swaying and singing along to “Country Roads”, arms around each other like it was the final scene of a movie. It was the perfect ending to a day full of love, laughter, and trust — and honestly, it reminded me why I love what I do.

When couples trust me as their DJ to feel the night, that’s when some unexpected magic canhappens. Rachel and Jacob’s wedding wasn’t just a party — it was a memory that everyone who was there will be talking about for a long time.

Magic in the Details: Annika and Joshua’s Epic Wedding at The Pennsylvanian

Spring in Pittsburgh can be a little unpredictable — sunny one second, raining the next — but when it all comes together, there’s just something electric about this city. And honestly, that’s exactly how Annika and Joshua’s wedding felt: pure energy, total joy, and a whole lot of love packed into one unforgettable night at The Pennsylvanian.

From the moment I first met Annika and Joshua, I could tell their wedding day was going to be something special. They were so intentional with their planning — thoughtful about every detail without ever losing the excitement of just getting to be together. That kind of vibe? It always makes for the best celebrations.

One of my favorite moments of the whole day happened before the party even started. Before guests flooded into the Grand Hall, Annika and Joshua shared a private first dance. Just the two of them, soaking in the moment. It was seriously magical — like pressing pause on time before the chaos (the good chaos) of the night began.

For dinner we kept it classy and fun with a blend of jazz standards, acoustic singer-songwriter tracks, and a few surprising 80s favorites tucked in. It was the perfect soundtrack for people catching up, laughing over plates of amazing food, and clinking glasses.

And once we opened the dance floor? Total mayhem — in the absolute best way. Their friends and family came READY. We hit everything from old-school throwbacks to pop anthems, some high-energy rap, and even a little country and disco sprinkled in. It was that perfect mix where your grandma, your college roommate, and your cousin are all screaming the lyrics to the same song.

It’s nights like these that remind me why I love being a DJ. When the planning is thoughtful and the people show up ready to party, it doesn’t just feel like another event — it feels like you’re part of something real. Annika and Joshua nailed it: they made time for each other, and then they let loose and lived it up with the people they love most.

We wrapped up the night with one of those songs that feels like pure adrenaline in music form — everyone singing, jumping, laughing, losing it — and honestly, nobody wanted it to end. (But don’t worry, most of them kept the party going at the after party!)

Congratulations to Annika and Josh! Thank you so much for letting me a part of your unbelievably perfect wedding day!
