Rachel and Ian (Salvatore’s Banquets)

While all weddings are memorable, some are such a massive party that they become unforgettable. Rachel and Ian’s wedding at Salvatore’s in Pittsburgh, PA was a celebration that I know their guests will never forget!

The ballroom at Salvatore’s was stunning and provided the perfect amount of space for everyone to join in the celebration. After dinner guests immediately hit the dance floor to enjoy a great selection of music from yesterday and today.

Rachel and Ian did an amazing job choosing music for me to incorporate throughout the night. This included special songs for cocktails, dinner, and dancing, which gave their evening a customized soundtrack that everyone enjoyed. After a LOT of partying, singing and dancing, their guests joined in for the last few songs before they wished the couple tons of happiness for this new chapter of their lives. After so much time with friends and family, Rachel and Ian now get to spend some time alone on a romantic honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Donna and John (Veltre’s Wedding & Event Center)

One of my favorite parts of being a DJ in Pittsburgh for so many years is that occasionally I get to see former couples at the weddings of their siblings and friends. Playing Donna and John’s wedding was unbelievably special to me since I had played Donna’s daughter’s wedding 9 years ago! Donna and John held their beautiful and fun-filled celebration at the Veltre’s Wedding & Event Center in Plum, PA.

Their nuptials were held at an intimate ceremony with a small group of friends and family. Afterwards everyone met up for an amazing dinner and party!

It was such an honor for me to not only celebrate with Donna and John, but to also meet Donna’s grandchildren (who did an excellent job celebrating with all of the guests!). Everyone danced to a fantastic selection of music, including hits from every decade all the way up to some modern hits. The newlyweds visited, dance, and sang all night long. With their amazing celebration over, they headed off to Vegas for a very well-deserved honeymoon!

Ashley and Garrett (The Barn at Maple Falls Wedding)

Most of the weddings I get to DJ are for couples who I’ve met soon after their engagement. It’s fun to get to hear their stories of how they met and made the huge decision to get married. Having known Ashley for many years, I had the unique opportunity to watch (via social media) as her and Garrett’s relationship began and grew. I was thrilled when they asked me to be a part of their epic celebration held at the Barn at Maple Falls in Rockwood, PA.

While a relatively newer wedding venue, I can’t picture a better location for Ashley and Garrett to hold their ceremony and reception. With so many beautiful locations throughout the property, guests were able to relax and have a fantastic day while celebrating with the newlyweds. Garrett clearly loved the venue so much that he crafted a custom card box identical to the barn itself!

Ashley and Garrett let their guests control most of the dance music, which resulted in a dance party that included amazing songs from both yesterday and today! The excitement on the dance floor was contagious and completely unforgettable. I loved getting to be there to see how happy the newlyweds were when surrounded by all their favorite people. After so much partying, Ashely & Garrett headed off for well-deserved Vegas honeymoon.

Cady and Adam (George Washington Hotel Wedding)

While every wedding features beautiful decor and special touches, the receptions I find most memorable are the ones where the couple includes unique details that are truly a reflection of their style and tastes. Cady and Adam’s big day was one that featured customized choices that I’m sure their guests will never forget.

Their ceremony and reception were held at the historic and gorgeous George Washington Hotel in Washington, PA. Guests were treated to homemade maple syrup AND a cupcake/popcorn bar. Of course, I LOVED the custom Mickey & Minnie Mouse cake topper!

I had a blast working with Cady and Adam. I could tell that their fun and relaxed demeanor would lead to a fun evening of dancing, singing and just being a little silly. Their guests joined in for a playlist featuring some amazing music from yesterday and today. I’m so glad I was able to play a part of such a beautiful celebration!

Laura and Charlie (The White Barn Wedding)

One of the great things about weddings is that those closest to you will be as excited as you are for the big day. It also means that those same people will step up to help you to ensure that everything turns out wonderfully. Laura and Charlie had an amazing group supporting them as they celebrated their love at The White Barn in Prospect, PA.

The White Barn looked amazing and offered lots of different spaces for the guests to enjoy the ceremony, cocktails, dinner and lots and lots of dancing!

I was fortunate enough to be the DJ at Laura’s sister’s wedding 10 years ago, so I knew this was going to be a fabulous celebration with a fun group of super friendly people. Both Laura and Charlie’s family and friends joined in to dance and sing all night long. The happy couple now gets to prepare for a VERY well-deserved honeymoon later this year in the Florida Keys.

Kajsa and Nick (Pennsylvanian Wedding Reception)

There are a LOT of choices to make for your wedding, . For some couples that means things like custom Pinterest boards of pictures for the photographer to replicate, or maybe agonizing over the perfect typeface for your ceremony programs. Some of my favorite couples to work with are those that choose to spend a little time thinking about how music will impact their wedding day. Kajsa and Nick did an amazing job picking songs that were the perfect match for their friends and family.

Their reception was held in the stunning Grand Hall at the Pennsylvanian in Pittsburgh, PA. They held their first dance during cocktails in the Rotunda before guests made their way inside for dinner and dancing. At the end of the Grand Hall was one of the most amazing customized bars I’ve ever seen that included gorgeous photos of the bride and groom!

After dinner it was time for an epic dance party, including THREE Tarantellas! All of Kajsa and Nick’s song selections had everyone laughing, singing and dancing all night long.

Kajsa and Nick created amazing moments throughout the night, including Nick and friends serenading the bride, and Kajsa (a former cheerleader) being held up (literally) as everyone around sang to “Sweet Caroline”. It was a night full of memorable moments and great music. The newlyweds will soon head off to Italy for a fun filled honeymoon!
