Haley and Lucas (Fairmont Pittsburgh Wedding)

One of the things you can do to help make your wedding day more memorable is to include a few special, unique ideas that will keep your guests talking for weeks after the big day. Haley and Lucas chose some of the most fun and special touches for their wedding reception held at the beautiful Fairmont Pittsburgh.

Not only did they choose a wonderful venue and great uplighting colors. They also included fantastic food stations, selfie photo booth, and a late night soft pretzel bar. To help capture they night, they had an artist from Celebration Paintings who painted an amazing piece of artwork throughout the reception.

Of course, Haley and Lucas also selected some wonderful music for their guests to enjoy. The dance floor never let up and at the end, no one was ready to leave. The newlyweds put together the right mix of elegance and fun that I’m sure no one will ever forget. They also made the perfect choice for their honeymoon, as they head off to Greece and Italy.

Danielle and Brian (SNPJ Bridgeville)

It’s such a thrill for me to work with couples who are as passionate about music as I am. Danielle and Brian spent a great deal of time curating an amazingly diverse and fun music list for their wonderful wedding reception held at the SNPJ in Bridgeville, PA.

Music wasn’t the only custom touch they made for their special day, among their fun decorations was this cake topper featuring them and their puppies!

Danielle and Brian told me their friends and family would be quick to get up on the dance floor, and they didn’t disappoint! Everyone had a great time dancing and getting wild to some great music. It was clear at the end of the night that no one was ready for the night to end. The newlyweds put together the perfect soundtrack for an unforgettable celebration.

Ashley and Sean (The Lodge at Brady’s Run)

When it comes to having the perfect wedding, attitude is everything. It can be easy to get so distracted or caught up in various details of the day, that you lose focus on the things that matter most. Ashley and Sean knew exactly what was important for their amazing wedding day, held at The Lodge at Brady’s Run Park. Their relaxed and fun attitude made sure everything was going to be great.

While the forecast called for cold and rain all week, it ended up being a beautiful spring day for their outdoor ceremony. Ashley and Sean never worried about the weather, since no matter what, they knew their friends and family would be there to witness their vows.

Ashley and Sean also knew the importance music would play during their big day. They planned a lot of time for their guests to dance and no one was shy about getting up to join in the fun. With a large dance floor and a wide variety of music, there was an epic celebration like no other. The happy couple now gets to head off to Ireland for a well-earned honeymoon.

Mallori and Mike (Columbian Room)

Since New Year Eve is best known as a time of celebration, new beginnings, and resolutions, I can’t imagine that there is a more fitting date for a wedding. It was the perfect occasion for Mallori and Mike’s big day at the Columbian Room in Wexford, PA as their guests joined in to celebrate the newlyweds’ new life together as husband and wife.

The Columbian Room looked amazing for both a beautiful ceremony as well as the best party of the year. I was so glad I could help by providing uplighting and a customized monogram for the happy couple.

Mallori and Mike’s friends and family had clearly come to party. The dance floor was the place to be, and as midnight approached no one was left out of the celebration. The newlyweds started the new year, and their new marriage surrounded by all of their favorite people. They are now headed off for a well-deserved honeymoon.

Blaire and Colby (Heinz History Center)

Weddings held over the holidays are always extra special. It gives everyone a reason to pause from the hectic season and enjoy a time of celebration. Blaire and Colby’s wedding at the Heinz History Center was a wonderfully joyous occasion as their friends and family came to spend some quality time with the newlyweds and wish them well on their new lives together.

The Heinz History Center Great Hall is absolutely one of the most unique and captivating venues in Pittsburgh. Most of the guests traveled from Louisiana to be part of the big day, so this was an amazing way to show off our amazing city. They even got to see some snow!

Blaire and Colby’s wedding featured so many special moments, including live music for their ceremony and cocktails, some very special parent dances, and of course, lots of great times with friends and family. The music featured a wide variety of music from today, oldies, country and even some cajun selections. I’m sure their guests all went home with many stories to share about this once in a lifetime celebration of love.

Erin and Ricky (Sheraton Station Square)

How hard are you willing to work to make your wedding day perfect? The answer is different for everyone, but for those who are able to put in a lot of effort, the results are always amazing. Erin and Ricky raised the bar incredibly high for their amazing winter wedding reception held at the Sheraton Station Square. On top of all the other details, Erin learned two choreographed dances for the big day, one with Ricky and another one with her father. These dances helped make an already wonderful evening even more memorable.

The Sheraton Ballroom looked fantastic and provided a spectacular view of the Pittsburgh skyline. Guests all received Terrible Towels which made for an epic entrance!

Perhaps inspired but all the special dances, all of the newlyweds’ guests were ready to jump on the dance floor when the party began. There was no shortage of singing, dancing and just craziness. Erin and Ricky’s hard work resulted in the most perfect of celebrations. The happy couple is now off to Jackson Hole, WY for a well deserved honeymoon.
