Jessica and Jeffrey (Lenape Heights Golf Resort Reception)

When wedding guests head to work on Monday morning, they’ll be faced with one question… “How was the wedding?”.   Jessica and Jeffrey knew they wanted the answers to be “FUN!”, “AMAZING!” and “A TOTAL BLAST!”.   They included so many wonderful details in their reception, that they guaranteed that all of their friends and family members would have one of the most enjoyable nights of their lives.

Their wedding was held at the Lenape Heights Golf Resort in Ford City, PA.  Not only did the ballroom looking stunning with beautiful decorations, but I was able to provide uplighting and a monogram to make the room look even more special for the celebration.  Throughout the evening, we used various colors on the walls to keep things fun and beautiful.  Jessica and Jeffrey provided motion activated wristbands to all of their guests, so when the dancing started, the party was literally LIT!

The newlyweds made sure to spend time dancing and singing with everyone to some amazingly fun songs from yesterday and today. No one wanted to stop moving and partying as the last songs played and it was time to wish the newlyweds goodbye with a grand sparkler exit. The happy couple is now headed off to Jamaica for a honeymoon of fun and relaxation, which they both totally deserve.

Maria and Steven (Pittsburgh Airport Marriott Reception)

One of my favorite things about being a wedding DJ is working with couples who really want their day to be fun for all who are invited.  With everyone putting so much focus on the newlyweds, it’s truly special to see couples who spend so much effort towards making sure their guests are going to enjoy the day just as much.  Maria and Steven’s sweet and caring personalities made it easy for them to plan an amazing wedding reception for them and all of their closest friends and family at the wonderful Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Moon Township, PA.

The Three Rivers Room at the Marriott looked amazing with glitter and shiny silver accents and blue uplighting.  Guests were treated to an adorable custom bottle of wine at each place setting.

Maria and Steven entered the ballroom and set the tone that tonight would be a celebration like no other.  Everyone took their lead and there was no hesitation when the dance floor opened.  They joined in to enjoy a great dance party that featured hits including oldies, old skool hip-hop, 70’s and today.  It could not have been a more perfect ending to the happy couple’s amazing day as they were surrounded by all of their closest people.  Guests had come from near and far, and the newlyweds were sure to give them a night to remember.

Alyssa and Kyle (Carnegie Museum Wedding & Reception)

Anyone who knows me is aware of my love of all things Disney, so you can imagine my excitement when I heard that Alyssa and Kyle’s wedding day was going to be themed after the movie “UP!”.  They did a fabulous job incorporating adorable pieces and music throughout the Carnegie Museum in Oakland, where both their ceremony and reception were held.

Guests gathered to witness their nuptials in the gorgeous Hall of Sculptures before making their way to the Music Hall Foyer.  At the reception was were Alyssa and Kyle’s “UP!” wedding really got to be shine.

Clearly, all of these fun details, would stir up everyone to want to dance, party and celebrate!

Alyssa and Kyle’s personalities came through at every part of their day.  From the music they chose to the constant laughter, and finally to the wonderful party of singing and dancing that could have lasted all night long, the newlyweds held a wedding that was a reflection of themselves and their love for each other.  There could not have been a more suitable way for the couple to begin the next chapter in their Adventure Book.

Casey and Dan (The Pennsylvanian Reception)

I’m always honored when I’m chosen to DJ a wedding, but there is something extra special when I am given the opportunity to be a part of a celebration for members of our military.  Not only do I feel it’s important to honor these wonderful men and women, but I also find that no one knows how to party and have fun more than those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country.  Casey and Dan had their beautiful and elegant military wedding at the Pennsylvanian in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.

The Pennsylvanian is a gorgeous and stunning venue, made even more elegant with their newly added drapery and the fantastic wedding decorations.

At the end of their reception, Casey and Dan made a comment to me about how the day was full of “perfect moments”.  I couldn’t agree more since they had so many of their friends and family surround them as they took the time to talk, relax, enjoy cookies, drink, dance, and sing.  Everyone seemed to have the best time as they got crazy to some fun music from yesterday and today.  They all gathered around for one last song before the couple’s sparkler exit.  Casey and Dan gave everyone a fantastic celebration and in turn, their guests gave them all the love and attention they deserved.  The newlyweds are headed off to Taiwan for a well-earned romantic honeymoon.

Christie and Jacob (Olde Stonewall Golf Club Reception)

There are times for everyone when things get tough.  Work, stress, family, health – all these things can make us forget how blessed we are and how great life is.  While the wedding is clearly very special for the bride and groom, it’s also a gift to everyone who attends because it gives them a genuine reason to celebrate.  In this day and age, people NEED to celebrate.  Christie and Jacob had an amazing and beautiful wedding at the Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City, PA, and the perfect celebration for all of their friends and family.

The Grand Hall looked gorgeous and had the most wonderful Beauty and the Beast themed decor.  The roses under glass were simply amazing.  After a delicious dinner, everyone was quick to join in the fun for a fantastic dance party!

Christie and Jacob wanted to make sure everyone had a fabulous time and took the simple idea of “Be Our Guest” to a whole new level.  As the evening came to a close, there was a great atmosphere of joy and happiness as all of their guests joined in to wish them well in their new lives together.  It was a perfect ending to the perfect day.

Kaylyn and Greg (Fox Chapel Golf Club Reception)

With so many details to choose for a wedding day, it’s easy to forget to consider how the night will end.  While no one wants to focus on the day being completed, you’ll always remember the way you spent the last moments of your celebration.  Kaylyn and Greg came up with the most original and sweet idea for their wonderful reception held at the Fox Chapel Golf Club.

Before I explain the ending, I should note how amazing the Golf Club looked.  Everything from the dining area to the ballroom looked stunning.  I was glad they chose to have me provide some uplighting and a custom monogram to make things look even better!  It was the perfect setting for one of the most epic dance parties I’ve ever seen.

So, by this point, I’m sure you want to know how it ended.  After a wonderful dance party, all of the guests gathered in the front of the golf club while Kaylyn and Greg had one final slow dance alone.  It was sweet, romantic and a wonderful chance to just be together for a few moments before heading outside for cheers and hugs from all their favorite people.  The perfect ending to a truly unforgettable day.
