Meghan and Norbert (Carnegie Museum Wedding Reception)

I love to get to hear stories from couples about their relationship and how led up to their wedding day. It’s so fun and helps me to get to know the bride and groom in order to prepare for their special day. Meghan and Norbert had some amazing tales about their first date (a scavenger hunt around Pittsburgh) and their engagement (a helicopter ride over the city), that definitely let me know how unique and fun their celebration would be at the amazing Carnegie Museum in Oakland.

I can never say enough about how much I love to come to the Carnegie Museum. Not only is it stunning, but everything about it is completely top notch. Meghan and Norbert’s ceremony was held in the gorgeous Hall of Sculpture, and the reception was held in the beautiful and ornate Music Hall Foyer.

Meghan and Norbert’s amazing history let me know that they weren’t afraid to plan and work to create magical moments. I had the best time working with them both since they wanted to create a celebration like no other. Their hard work paid off big since all their guests had the time of their lives dancing, singing and just getting crazy with the newlyweds. I’m looking forward to keeping in touch with these two since I’m sure they’re going to have more incredible stories to tell.

Lori and Drew (Carnegie Museum Wedding Reception)

The most unique thing about your wedding day will not be the venue, the wedding dress, or even the variety of treats displayed on the cookie table. What makes every reception different is the guests who come to celebrate with the newlyweds. Lori and Drew understood this from the beginning and made a lot of special plans to be sure their friends and family were treated to an evening like no other. They focused their evening on spending time with each and every person who had played an important part in their lives.

Their ceremony and reception were held at the breathtaking Carnegie Museum Hall of Sculpture and Music Hall Foyer. The decor was stunning, as was the celebration which featured a photo booth, hora and an epic display of cookies.

Lori and Drew ended their evening with a “90-2000’s Power Hour” of some of their favorite songs from high school and college. This was such a fun way to bring back memories they had with some of the most important people in their lives. After the last song and 2 additional songs, it was clear no one wanted to leave. Everyone couldn’t get enough of this amazing evening with such a wonderful couple. The newlyweds will be heading off to Japan for their honeymoon later this year.

Kelly & Dominic (Stonebridge Farm Wedding Reception)

Most couples are inspired by the weddings they attend each year for ideas for their own special day. Imagine the challenge a professional photographer would face when planning her own wedding? After seeing hundreds and hundreds of amazing celebrations, the possibilities might be overwhelming. Thankfully, this was not the case for Kelly & Dominic. Kelly, who is an extremely talented Pittsburgh wedding photographer, knew exactly what would make their special day an epic celebration of their love, and the results could not have been better.

Kelly and Dominic held their wedding ceremony and reception at the gorgeous Stonebridge Farm in Ambridge, PA. Even though the weather may not have cooperated for the entire day, it didn’t keep the day from being absolutely perfect.

Not only did the reception feature a great sense of style and elegance, there was also a wonderful feeling of fun! I knew right away what a great group this was going to be when they couldn’t help themselves to start dancing during cocktail hour! As the sun went down, all of the guests had the time of their lives dancing to all sorts of great music. The evening seemed to end entirely too soon, but not before all their guests sent the couple off with an awesome sparkler exit!

Jen and Robert (Greystone Fields Wedding Reception)

Anyone who knows me or my family knows that we’re pretty obsessed with all things Disney, so you can imagine I was thrilled to find out that Jen and Robert chose to incorporate lots of fantastic and unique Disney themed details at their magical, fun-filled wedding reception at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia, PA.

Jen and Robert spent lots of time creating some amazing customized items based on their favorite Disney movies and characters. I simply adore their card box, which included a few hidden Mickeys!

Obviously, such fun and imaginative people would have friends and family who were ready to laugh, sing and dance once it was time to celebrate. Everyone was quick to dance to music from wedding classics to the newest hits. Everyone surrounded the newlyweds for one last song before saying good night and wishing them well on their new lives together. Jen and Robert are, of course, headed off to their honeymoon in the one and only, Walt Disney World!

Ashley and Dustin (Omni William Penn Hotel Wedding)

One of the most fun aspects of being a DJ is working with couples who have truly found their ideal match. Every once in a while I get the pleasure of playing a reception where not only the couple seems to fit together perfectly, but their families do as well. Ashley and Dustin’s relatives and friends joined together seemlessly to party and celebrate at their amazing reception at the Omni William Penn hotel in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.

The Grand Ballroom looked completely stunning with the ballcony surrounded by candles. This made the prefect location for this once in a lifetime celebration.

To say that there was some dancing would be an insane understatement. Ashley and Dustin knew the music that would keep their guests dancing, singing and getting wild on the extremely large dance floor. With over FOUR HOURS of dance music, guests were still excited to head off to the after party! The newlyweds started off their new lives together surrounded by their newly joined families who truly know how to throw a party. The happy couple now gets a little time away as they head off to their honeymoon in Spain & Portugal.

Sara and Ryan (Fox Chapel Golf Club Wedding)

Every couple should have as much fun dancing on their wedding day as Sara and Ryan did. It was so great watching them dance together the entire evening as they smiled, laughed and truly enjoyed every moment of their special day.

The reception was held at the beautiful Fox Chapel Golf Club in Fox Chapel, PA. The Atrium, dining room and ballroom all looked stunning and made for the perfect venue for a fantastic celebration. Guests were treated to an amazing evening, which also featured an entire cookie room filled with delicious treats.

Sara and Ryan weren’t the only ones who enjoyed themselves on the dance floor. Their friends and family were quick to join in the celebration as they danced to a great variety of music. At the end of the evening, everyone headed outside to wish the couple well with a sparkler send-off. The newlyweds can now enjoy some time dancing on the beach during their romantic Hawaiian honeymoon!
