Lauren and Kyle (Soldiers and Sailors)

While almost everyone likes to have fun, there are people in the world who just ARE fun. They can’t help but infuse their personalities into everything they do. I feel fortunate when I get to DJ a wedding for couples like this since it’s guaranteed to be a unique and wonderful evening. Lauren and Kyle’s wedding reception was an amazing celebration full of great moments and special touches that was a perfect reflection of their style.

The wedding reception was held on a perfect Fall day at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Oakland. I’m so glad Lauren and Kyle gave me a chance to provide uplighting and a monogram in the ballroom.

Lauren and Kyle gave their guests a real evening to remember. Everything from the candy buffet to the Princess Bride themed caked topper made for a fun and relaxed evening. After a very customized Father-Daughter dance, everyone came to the dance floor and sang, danced, and got a little wild. The newlyweds made it all seem so easy since nothing seemed forced, instead it all was a natural match for who they are. The happy (and super fun) couple will soon be headed for more good times on their Hawaiian honeymoon!

Melissa and Matt (White Barn)

One of the keys to ensuring a successful wedding reception is to be sure to include a great variety of music during the celebration. I encourage couples to take advantage of every moment of their wedding day to feature different types of music from their favorite artists. Melissa and Matt did an amazing job in choosing music, so all of their guests would be able to be part of the fun all day long.

The reception was held at the beautiful and rustic White Barn in Prospect, PA. The barn looked fantastic decked out in Fall colors and flowers.

Melissa and Matt’s playlist included everything from Motown, R&B, rap and top 40 hits. Including such a great mix of music was the perfect fit for their friends and family. The party could have lasted all night long, but it was great to see so many guests at the end of the night ready for the couple’s wonderful sparkler exit! The newlyweds are soon off to Grenada for a romantic and well deserved honeymoon.

Ashley and Kevin (Armstrong Farms)

It’s important to remember that your wedding day will be a special day for every guest who attends. People need happy reasons to gather with friends and family to make new memories, and there is nothing like a great reception to make that happen. Ashley and Kevin gave their loved ones some amazing moments during their beautiful Fall wedding ceremony and reception held at Armstrong Farms in Saxonburg, PA.

Their wedding was held right outside of the beautiful barn, and they were blessed with amazing weather for everyone to witness their nuptials. Afterwards, guests were treated to a fun-filled reception with games, donuts and dancing! The music throughout the day included such a great variety of styles, there was plenty for people to enjoy.

Once the dancing started, Ashley and Kevin’s family were so much fun, there was even a very unique dance off between the cousins! After the reception, everything wrapped up outside with a bonfire. The newlyweds shared hundreds of once-in-a-lifetime moments that are sure to be talked about for years to come. Following such a successful day, the happy couple headed off for some well-deserved alone time on their honeymoon in California.

Rachel and Griffin (Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport)

The first dance of the bride and groom is always a special moment during the reception. I’m always impressed with couples who take the time to choreograph the dance since it adds so much extra work and pressure to the big day. Rachel and Griffin clearly had spent lots of time learning their dance and the results where absolutely worth it as all their guests clapped and cheered throughout their amazing performance.

Their reception was at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport and the ballroom looked fantastic with red chair sashes with amber uplighting. It made the perfect setting for an evening with friends and family who had gathered to celebrate with the newlyweds.

Everyone was definitely inspired by Rachel and Griffin’s first dance, since after dinner the dance floor instantly filled as all the guests joined in the celebration. The playlist included a great variety of music from yesterday and today, so no one was left out of the party. The happy couple is now headed off for a romantic honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to enjoy the success of their epic wedding day.

Julie and Brian (Mayernik Center)

Weddings are fun at any time of year, but there’s something special to me about Fall weddings, when the air is cool and the scenery is so beautiful. The Mayernik Center at Avonworth Community Park provided a beautiful backdrop for Julie and Brian’s ceremony and reception on one of the most beautiful days of the year.

Their ceremony was held outside with rustic, custom-made doors as a backdrop. Guests then enjoyed cocktails, dinner and dancing in the main building.

Julie and Brain planned for a day that gave them lots of time to enjoy with their friends and family. Guests were treated to great food, amazing cupcakes and some wonderful music. As we started a new season of the year, everyone enjoyed an unforgettable day celebrating the newlyweds life together.

Nicole and Matt (12 Oaks Mansion)

As a DJ, I tend to talk a lot about the fun and dancing portion of wedding receptions, but many times I’m fortunate enough to be a part of the actual ceremony. I love being able to provide sound and music for the most important time of couple’s special day. Nicole and Matt did a fantastic job choosing music to include in their ceremony that fit their style perfectly.

The newlyweds made an excellent choice to hold their nuptials and celebration at the beautiful Twelve Oaks Mansion in Mars, PA.

Once the ceremony was completed, guests were able to move from the library into the ballroom for cocktails, dinner and dancing. The happy couple took great care in preparing a day that would suit their guests’ style. This included everything from the location, ceremony, candy buffet and music. The results could not have been more perfect and I am thrilled that Nicole and Matt chose me to be part of it all. Congratulations to this awesome couple!
