Laura and Seth (Wedding Reception at the New Englander)

People often ask me if I ever get tired of DJing weddings, given that I’ve been doing it since I was 15. To that, I can honestly say, without a doubt, that I’ve never tired of being part of these incredible, unique, and memorable celebrations. DJing weddings is where my heart is, and I can’t imagine a more fulfilling way to spend my weekends. Laura and Seth’s wedding holds a special place in my heart as it marks my first “2nd generation” wedding, having previously had the honor of DJing Laura’s parent’s wedding!

Laura and Seth chose the charming New Englander in New Castle, PA, as the venue for their reception. The spacious room provided a perfect backdrop for their guests to enjoy a fantastic evening of celebration.

Their guest list was a diverse mix of friends and family spanning generations, which made for an exciting dance floor experience. It was a joy to see people of all ages come together, grooving to tunes from a wide range of genres.

One of the highlights of the night was spending time with young Aiden, who joined me in DJing and had a blast controlling the light show for everyone on the dance floor. Being part of this fun-filled wedding for this amazing family was an absolute thrill. The evening was a delightful blend of excellent food, wonderful company, and, of course, fantastic music!

Taryn and Mike (The Camelot Wedding Reception)

Taryn and Mike’s wedding was a heartwarming celebration that welcomed everyone as if they were the couple’s nearest and dearest. The sense of closeness and familiarity was palpable, a testament to the couple’s desire to have everyone fully engaged in their joyous occasion.

Their wedding reception took place on a perfect summer day at Camelot in Warrendale, PA. The venue provided a splendid backdrop for creating enduring memories that will undoubtedly be a topic of conversation for years to come.

When the dance floor opened, it quickly became apparent that this was an event for all ages and everyone joined in the fun. I had the pleasure of playing music spanning every genre imaginable, and it was heartening to witness guests of all ages having a blast on the dance floor.

The night ended with a giant group hug which felt like the perfect ending to the perfect family gathering. It was an exceptional and heartwarming day, one that will stay with me for a long time to come.

Madison and Scott (Roost Event Center Wedding)

Madison and Scott hosted a spectacular wedding on a beautiful summer day at the Roost Event Center in Mahaffey, PA, and their inclusive playlist kept friends and family of all ages entertained throughout the celebration.

The Roost Event Center, a relatively new venue, proved to be the perfect setting for Madison and Scott’s special day. Their ceremony, overlooking a lush Pennsylvania landscape, set the stage for an unforgettable event. Afterward, guests made their way to the elegant cocktail and main space, ready for a night of revelry.

When the dance floor opened, it quickly filled with enthusiastic guests grooving to an eclectic mix of music. From Motown classics to modern pop and rap hits, the playlist had something for everyone. What made this celebration truly unique was a surprise live performance of “Love Shack” by the groom and best man, adding an extra layer of fun to the evening.

Madison and Scott’s dedication to creating a celebration not only for themselves but also for their guests resulted in a day filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of dancing. The party was so electric that it could have easily continued until the break of dawn, and I, like everyone else, was sad to see it come to an end.

Bengü and Michael (Chartiers Country Club Wedding)

Being a wedding DJ is simply awesome. Not only do I get to meet many amazing couples, I also get to help with their big day to help make sure everything goes exactly how they’ve always wanted. Collaborating with Bengü and Michael as their DJ was a blast, and their wedding day was nothing short of remarkable, filled with fantastic elements that will be remembered for years to come.

Their ceremony and reception unfolded at Chartiers Country Club on a perfect summer day. The ballroom was beautifully adorned in pink and orange, with an eye-catching MR & MRS sign as the backdrop for the upcoming dance party.

One thing that set this celebration apart was the inclusion of Turkish traditions and music. Bengü’s cultural heritage was on full display, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere that had everyone joining in when the music started. The playlist was a mix of old and new, catering to a diverse range of tastes and ensuring that guests of all ages could partake in the festivities.

As the night came to a close, it was clear that Bengü and Michael had not only planned a special day for themselves but had also made sure their guests felt like an integral part of the celebration. Selecting the right music for your wedding day is like setting the soundtrack to your love story. As a wedding DJ, I’m often asked, “Can guests request songs?” My usual response? Absolutely, if the couple is up for it! Many newlyweds-to-be feel a bit apprehensive about opening the floor to guest requests, fearing a mismatched vibe. But Amanda and Andrew defied the norm.
