When planning the schedule for your reception, it’s the subtle things that can have the biggest impact.  Erin and Mark did a masterful job planning the events for the their special day at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association in Oakland.  Both the way their reception began and ended allowed them to have the perfect wedding day with their friends and family.

The newlyweds took the time between cocktails and the reception to include a receiving line.  This gave the chance to greet all their guests individually and saved them lots of time after dinner.  After all of the fun of the celebration, everyone was invited downstairs to the PAA’s bowling alley for a unique and fun-filled after party.

It was such a pleasure to work with Erin and Mark, who had a great vision for the their wedding day, and I was so happy to see it turn out so perfectly.  The couple now gets to enjoy what I’m sure will be an amazing honeymoon in Curaçao.

After so many years of DJing weddings here in Pittsburgh, I assumed I had seen every combination of wedding colors and decorations.  Kayla and Michael proved me wrong in the most amazing way by using 5 vibrant and stunning colors for their celebration at the Westwood Golf Club in West Mifflin, PA.

The ballroom was decked out with purple, blue, green, yellow and red elements, all of which matched the sashes and vest on the bridal party.  I was so happy that they asked me to provide uplighting which changed colors every few minutes throughout the evening.  The combination of colors and decorations were beautiful and something I’m sure no one will ever forget!

My favorite moment of the reception was when Kayla surprised Michael during their first dance with a special song she had recorded just for him.  All of the guests were treated to a great mix of music as everyone danced and sang throughout the night.  I had the best time working with Kayla and Michael on their magical wedding reception.  They are now off what I’m sure will be a beautiful (and colorful) honeymoon!

Melissa and David held their reception at the beautiful Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, PA.  They did a fabulous job making sure all of their guests felt welcome and special throughout the elegant and fun celebration. Everyone was treated to great conversation, fantastic food, and a terrific mix of music.

The newlyweds worked hard on creating a great playlist to suit all the styles of their friends and family.  Fantastic songs from the Rat Pack era to today kept guests singing, dancing, and just getting plain silly.  It was awesome.

It’s great fun for me to get to work with people who are so passionate about music and family.  Melissa and David gave their guests an amazing evening to remember, and now are off to spend some quality time with each other on their honeymoon in Granada!
