Kayleigh and Andrew (LeMont Wedding DJ)

I’ve DJ’d a lot of weddings for people who are planning from out of town. One of the biggest choices when having lots of friends and family coming to Pittsburgh for your wedding is choosing the right reception venue to show off our wonderful city. Kayleigh and Andrew could not have made a better choice than having their elegant celebration at the LeMont on Mount Washington.

Not only was the ballroom the perfect fit for their guests, the view of the city was spectacular all evening long.

I loved this sign they included on their cookie table!

Kayleigh and Andrew did a great job putting together an evening that suited the various tastes and preferences of all of their guests. When it was time to dance, everyone was quick to jump up and join in the celebration. The happy couple is now off for a well deserved honeymoon in Hawaii!

Nicole and Chris (Greensburg Country Club Wedding)

Not every couple has the ability to stay cool and relaxed on their wedding day. Nicole and Chris were the perfect example of how to enjoy every moment of this once in a lifetime celebration. Their reception was held at the beautiful Greensburg Country Club in Jeanette, PA.

The ballroom at the country club was elegantly decorated. I was able to provide uplighting, which changed from candlelight to purple later in the evening. I love this effect!

Nicole and Chris were able to include all of the special events they wanted and still had plenty of time for singing and dancing with their crazy and fun guests!

Working with Nicole and Chris was a lot of fun. They had great song choices they knew their friends and family would enjoy (yay for Hootie & the Blowfish!). After the perfect end to a wonderful day, they’re soon headed to the Riviera Maya for a wonderful and well earned honeymoon.

Brittany and Jorden (Harrison Room Wedding DJ)

Some couples shy away from using newer music as part of their wedding reception. I find that while it’s great to have music that appeals to all of your guests, it’s also important to use the music that you know your closest friends will really enjoy. Brittany and Jorden chose a great variety of songs for their wonderful reception at the Harrison Room in Harrison City, PA.

The Harrison Room was fantastically decorated, but I’ll have to say my favorite area was the customized photo booth area with decorations and props. What a brilliant idea!

Brittany and Jorden’s entire day went so smoothly, it was great to see things come along ahead of schedule. This meant we were able to get the party started even earlier than we had planned!

Once it was time to dance, the happy couple’s friends and family enjoyed a great mix of music, including some wedding classics. As the evening progressed, I was able to play some very new tracks, which kept the newlyweds and their friends very happy. Brittany and Jorden are now off to the Riviera Maya for some much deserved time together.

Kristen and Charles (Embassy Suites Wedding DJ)

Family always plays a huge part in the planning and execution of every wedding. Some folks try and try to keep that involvement to a minimum, while others embrace the fun of having everyone be included in the big day. Kristen and Charles made their reception at the Embassy Suites in Moon Township one that everyone from ages 1 to 100 would enjoy.

The ballroom at the Embassy Suites looked amazing with gold and pink colors. I was able to provide uplighting for the large room, which helped create the perfect atmosphere for the celebration.

Kristen and Charle’s reception was beautiful and elegant, but also allowed for families with children to stay and party right along with the adults. Everyone joined in and sang and danced all the way until 1AM! The newlyweds are now headed off to Jamaica for some time away on their romantic honeymoon.

Laura + Roger (Ramada Greensburg Wedding DJ)

Some couples have to worry if their friends and family will be the type that will get up and join in the wedding celebration. Some groups can be more timid when it comes time to dance. Laura and Roger knew they would have nothing to worry about for their elegant and fun-filled reception at the Ramada Greensburg Hotel and Conference Center.

The newlyweds had me provide uplighting and a customized monogram to make the large ballroom even more beautiful. We used candlelight colors for cocktails/dinner and later changed them to pink for the rest of the party.

From the moment it was time to dance, all of Laura and Roger’s guests were letting loose and singing along to a great variety of music from the 60’s to today’s hits.

The happy couple provided me with excellent song suggestions which matched perfectly to their friends and family. At the end of the night the ballroom was still full of people ready to join the newlyweds for an after party. Laura and Roger planned an evening that everyone could enjoy, and now they get to relax for a while on their honeymoon in Florida.

Heather and Justin (Rustic Acre Farm Wedding DJ)

Every couple takes a different approach to choosing the music for their big day. Some only make a few selections, while others pick every song I am to play for their entire day. Heather and Justin spent their time making some very special and extremely unique choices for their ceremony and reception held on the most beautiful spring day at Rustic Acre Farm in Volant, PA.

This was my first time to be part of a wedding at Rustic Acre Farm, and I can’t imagine a more perfect location for Heather and Justin to start their new lives together.

Married under a large tree next to a pond, the ceremony included instrumental versions of songs from video games like Super Mario and Legend of Zelda!

After guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio of the barn, everyone entered the barn for dancing and fun with music from the 50’s to today. Guests also were able to enjoy outdoor games and a bonfire. Heather and Justin made great requests which got their friends and family to the dance floor throughout the night. With a perfect day completed, the newlyweds are ready for their next adventure on their honeymoon in Alaska.
