Kristen and Adam (The White Barn)

I’ve come to realize that every reception I DJ effects every wedding afterwards.  Kristen and Adam put great care into choosing music for their celebration at the White Barn in Prospect, PA.  I know that many of the unique and fun tunes they selected will work there way into many weddings in the future.

The White Barn looked amazing with lots of special details and decorations.  I’ll admit I was partial to their wine bottle place cards with the sign that read “You Can Find Your Seat Here… But Your Place Is On The Dance Floor”.

Planning a wedding from out of town can be a difficult task, but with the help of the talented staff of Soiree by Souleret, Kristen and Adam were able to give all of their guests a day filled with fun, music, and love.  The newlyweds will soon be heading off to Greece to start their new lives together.

Cassandra and Paolo (Lingrow Farm)

Most people love to attend weddings, and these are the guests that will really help make your special day even more memorable.  Cassandra and Paolo were joined by friends and family from around the world who came to sing, dance, and celebrate with them for their wedding day at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, PA.

The couple was married down by the pond during a quiet and romantic ceremony.  During the reception, guests were given a wonderful favor of homemade olive oil adorned with the Italian equivalent of “I Do”.

Once dinner was completed, Cassandra and Paolo’s guests had a fantastic time dancing to a wonderful selection of oldies and Motown classics.  At the end of the evening, it was clear that the newlyweds truly had the perfect wedding and reception, one that their guests will never forget.  They are now heading off for their romantic honeymoon in Puerto Rico to rest up before their wedding this Fall in Italy!

Accolades (Paige and Evan)

untitled (1 of 1)-4

Eric made the night unforgettable. I have been to weddings with bad DJs and everyone just sits around and ultimately leaves early. I am not kidding when I say that there wasn’t enough room on the dance floor. We had everyone – both young and old from both sides of the family – out on the dance floor until the very last dance.

Eric was incredibly professional. He is a charismatic, outgoing guy who definitely knows his business. He gave us a lot of suggestions and tips and made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the night. I had plenty of people who told me even weeks after the wedding that Eric was a GREAT DJ. He had the right type of music for everything – from the quaint cocktail hour, to our very happy entrance to the dance music that kept everyone up and moving all night.

One of the best things about Schiemer that we really took advantage of is doing everything online. You can sample all of his music and even can rate music in your profile to give him a better idea of what you like and don’t. He really read my mind. I can think of at least 2 songs that I wanted (and forgot to tell him!). He played them both before I could even talk to him. He made the night truly unforgettable.

Eric, thank you for making our wedding amazing. I would highly recommend Eric to anyone and wish we could have another one to work with him again!

Shoshana and Aaron (J Verno’s Studios)

Since “normal” life doesn’t stop when you’re planning your wedding, most people have to choose which details to focus on when putting together the perfect celebration.  Shoshana and Aaron chose music as one of those details and created the perfect soundtrack for their ceremony and reception at J. Verno Studios in the South Side of Pittsburgh.

The ceremony was romantic and intimate.  Shoshana and Aaron chose special music and readings which provided a contemporary feel while also including jewish traditions such as the chuppah and breaking of glass.

As dinner came to a close, it was difficult to keep people from the dance floor.  Shoshana and Aaron’s friends and family were anxious to get the party started and had a blast dancing to a great variety of music from all genres.  The evening ended with the newlyweds surrounded by their friends and family as everyone sang along to the last song.  The couple is now off to enjoy a well deserved European honeymoon.

Paige and Evan (Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall)

I’m always very excited to play my first wedding of every year.  I can’t imagine a more perfect couple to kick off 2014 than Paige and Evan.  Their fun, relaxed attitude made for a fantastic and elegant reception at Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory.

The Grand Hall is one of Pittsburgh’s most stunning venues and it was a fantastic choice for Paige and Evan’s reception.  There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves throughout the entire celebration.

The newlyweds allowed lots of flexibility when it came to the music for the evening.  This made it possible to include a wide variety of music for all of their guests to enjoy.  After a full evening of dancing and celebrating, Paige and Evan are now headed off for their honeymoon in sunny California.
