Jennifer and Kevin (Canonsburg PA Wedding Reception)

Every once in a while, I have the opportunity to DJ for a couple who is having their reception some place a little more private than a local hotel, golf club or museum. There is something incredibly special about inviting your friends and family to your family home that just can’t be duplicated anywhere else. Jennifer and Kevin’s celebration was held in the backyard of Kevin’s parents house in Canonsburg, PA, and was the perfect celebration for an evening of fun, food and dancing.

The backyard was transformed into an amazingly beautiful space for a party no one will soon forget!

Guests danced to music from every genre imaginable. Jennifer and Kevin’s friends and family got wild to songs from oldies to today’s biggest hits.

Having a wedding at home creates a wonderfully special and relaxed atmosphere for everyone involved, while still remaining an elegant and beautiful event. It was the perfect fit for Jennifer and Kevin as they were able to celebrate their new lives together with all their favorite people.

Carmen + Casey (Antonelli’s Event Center Wedding Reception)

Successful weddings are all about family. When you get engaged, it’s family that steps in to help plan and execute everything that will make the day perfect. As two separate families become one, it gives everyone a fantastic reason to celebrate. Carmen and Casey’s wedding reception was one neither of their families will ever forget. Their elegant and crazy fun party was held at the beautiful Antonelli’s Event Center in Irwin, PA.

The ballroom looked amazing and featured tons of special details, many provided or created by the friends and family of the happy couple!

Carmen’s mom organized a super fun flash mob to “Dancing Queen”, which set a wonderful tone to get the celebration in full gear! After that, everyone crowded the dance floor to great music from all genres.

Carmen and Casey’s families came together to ensure that the entire evening was a success. At the end of the night, guests of all ages were excited to head to the after-party. The newlyweds now get to spend a little time away from family as they head to their romantic Hawaiian honeymoon.

Elyse and Edward (Mirage Banquet)

Some people assume that I prefer to DJ only weddings with a large crowd, but I find there is something truly special about weddings that are slightly more intimate. Receptions with less than 100 guests can be just as amazing (if not more) than those with hundreds. Elyse and Ed held their wonderful and elegant reception at the beautiful Mirage Banquet Facility in Johnstown, PA.

The Mirage is a wonderful venue with the most stunning view of Johnstown, it was the perfect location for a terrific evening of fun.

Elyse and Ed’s friends and family proved that size of the guest list doesn’t determine the size of the celebration! Everyone was so fun and clearly ready to party with the newlyweds.

At the end of the night, Elyse’s father could not have said it better – “It was a very joyous occasion, and everyone behaved properly’. The newlyweds were able to spend lot of quality time with all their favorite people and at the end of the evening, it was clear that no one wanted it to end.

Alyssa and Tom (Syria Shriners Wedding)

While every wedding is full of people that are very happy for the newlyweds, occasionally I get to DJ a wedding where the guests are so over-the-top excited the energy uncontainable. Alyssa and Tom held their wonderful wedding reception at the Syria Shiners Center in Chadwick, PA, and it was a celebration to be remembered by everyone.

The ballroom at the Syria Shriner’s was the perfect location for a large gathering of all their friends and family. I was thrilled to get to provide uplighting and monogram which helped add a custom feel the room.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of food and fun, and when the dancing started, no one was shy about joining in the party!

Working with Alyssa and Tom was so much fun, it was wonderful to see their friends and family so excited to be a part of their epic wedding day. The happy couple is headed off to the Siesta Key in Florida, a romantic and hopefully relaxing honeymoon!

Jessica and Jeffrey (Lenape Heights Golf Resort Reception)

When wedding guests head to work on Monday morning, they’ll be faced with one question… “How was the wedding?”. Jessica and Jeffrey knew they wanted the answers to be “FUN!”, “AMAZING!” and “A TOTAL BLAST!”. They included so many wonderful details in their reception, that they guaranteed that all of their friends and family members would have one of the most enjoyable nights of their lives.

Their wedding was held at the Lenape Heights Golf Resort in Ford City, PA. Not only did the ballroom looking stunning with beautiful decorations, but I was able to provide uplighting and a monogram to make the room look even more special for the celebration. Throughout the evening, we used various colors on the walls to keep things fun and beautiful. Jessica and Jeffrey provided motion activated wristbands to all of their guests, so when the dancing started, the party was literally LIT!

The newlyweds made sure to spend time dancing and singing with everyone to some amazingly fun songs from yesterday and today. No one wanted to stop moving and partying as the last songs played and it was time to wish the newlyweds goodbye with a grand sparkler exit. The happy couple is now headed off to Jamaica for a honeymoon of fun and relaxation, which they both totally deserve.

Amanda and Keith (Club at Shadow Lakes Wedding)

Weddings can be so many things. Many people plan on how to make the day romantic, elegant and unique, but it’s so important to prepare for how much fun the day is going to be. I knew from the moment I met Amanda and Keith, that they wouldn’t lose focus on what a great time their wedding at the Club at Shadow Lakes was going to be as their favorite people gathered to celebrate their new lives together.

The ballroom was decorated beautifully and showcased an amazing view of a perfect summer day. I was thrilled to get to provide uplighting and a custom monogram in the entrance to the room. As the sun went down, all the guests took advantage of the big dance floor to celebrate.

Amanda and Keith chose some great music for the reception, and their friends and family jumped at the chance to get silly, dance and have the best time ever. The happy couple is now headed to the Riviera Maya where I’m sure their amazingly fun times will continue!
