Ann and Narium (Bella Sera Wedding Reception)

Still going through some old wedding photos and just came across one from 2007! Ann Ficco and Narium Dastur had their wedding at the beautiful Bella Sera by Grecco located in Canonsburg, PA.

As you can tell from the images, Bella Sera is a beautiful location that transports everyone to Italy with it’s strong Tuscan influence.

Ann and Narium were fun to work with and had guests come from all over to celebrate their special day. The wedding lasted long into the night and everyone had an amazing time enjoying this beautiful and unique venue.

Christy & Michael (Southpointe Golf Club )

This winter I’m continuing my trip down wedding memory lane and pulling old wedding photos that have never appeared on my website. Christy Russell & Michael Rogers held their wedding reception at the Southpointe Golf Club in Southpointe, PA.

I’ve had the pleasure of working at the golf club many times in the past few years. Their staff is always kind and attentive to every detail.

I happen to capture this moment of the bridal party enjoying themselves before their introductions.

Christy and Michael will be celebrating their FOURTH wedding anniversary this coming June. They had chosen such timeless and elegant style for their wedding that the photos could have easily be from this year.

Kate & Josh (Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium Wedding)

Just for fun, this winter I’m taking a look back at some weddings that I never featured on my website (I used to be really bad about that). I thought I should post a nice summer wedding for us to look at during this cold snowy time. A few years ago I performed at the reception of Kate Lockard and Josh Snyder at the outdoor facility of the Pittsburgh Zoo.

The outdoor tent makes for a beautiful location for a reception. The weather was amazing for Kate and Josh’s big day so guests could enjoy the outdoor cocktail hour and then enter the tent for dinner.

In place of name cards, each guest’s name was printed on to a beautiful rock. I still love this idea.

This little guy made his own grand entrance before the reception began…

It’s always a terrific experience to perform for an outdoor reception, the open environment really helps people relax and enjoy themselves. This year Kate and Josh are coming up on their 4th wedding anniversary! They were wonderful and fun to work, it was easy to make their day a fun and unique celebration.

Maria & Steve (Pittsburgh Renaissance Hotel )

Here’s another amazing wedding from the past couple of years that never made it to my website. Maria Gaydosz and Steve Calvery held a spectacular reception at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

The Renaissance Hotel is a spectacular place for a reception. The view of the city from the ballroom is simply breathtaking, and their attention to every detail is simply perfect.

Once again, I had the chance to work with Heather of Weddings By Heather. She is so great at capturing wonderful moments.

As you can tell by these photos, Maria and Steve’s wedding was one crazy fun party.

Maria and Steve were kind enough to write me a fantastic reference after their wedding. I feature it on my testimonials page because it so perfectly addresses the important concerns potential clients have. I have such a wonderful time at this reception, I was glad to get know this sweet and wonderful couple.

2010 Bride’s Choice Winner

I received notification yesterday that the folks over at the Wedding Wire website has select me as one of their Bride’s Choice Winners for second year in a row. I’ve been fortunate enough to have clients who have gone out of their way to share their experience with me on the Wedding Wire website.

Tara & Jason (Grand Concourse Wedding Reception)

Even though I’ve had this website for many years, I’ve only recently started featuring extensive looks at the weddings where I perform. Winter is typically considered the ‘slow season’ for DJs, so I thought it would be fun to showcase images from past weddings that never made it to the blog.

Tara Zurowski and Jason Hoover held their reception at the Grand Concourse located at Station Square in Pittsburgh. I had worked with Tara and Jason with what ended up being an entire day long celebration of their wedding vows at various locations. The Grand Concourse was a wonderful location for the first half of their wedding reception.

Tara and Jason entered the reception down the beautiful staircase and immediately launched into their bridal and parent dances.

The Grand Concourse created the prefect as atmosphere for their elegant and relaxed afternoon reception. It truly created wonderful spots for the photographer to grab some stunning images.

After the meal, the guests all headed over to Tara’s family’s house for a more casual celebration that lasted long into the night with lots of dancing and fun.
